A Producer, DJ, Pianist and a promoter in the industry, Kyotto is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka and has been consistent with amazing releases on imprints such as 3rd Avenue, PHW Elements, Soundteller, Mango Alley, Visceral, etc. which have been gaining support from names like DJ Ruby and Nick Warren. His "I Am Back" EP on Nikko Z's label "Dopamine White" showed melodic flair and caught Mixmag Asia's attention, which was premiered with a well esteemed article via their platform. The milestone 40th guest mix on Subterrânea comes from the talented hands of Colombo, Sri Lanka based producer Jesse Powell Pollocks AKA @kyottosl. He’s been part of the scene for a long while already and has had some massive releases. He is an artists who specializes in a gentle and forgiving sound. His productions are a unique fusion of euphoric and minimalistic, distinctive with his captivating and attentive sound design.  

Growing up with a lot of musical impacts from his family foundation he was brought into the world with the touch of music. With 13 years in the industry making music, learning and exploring various genres Kyotto has at long last found his home in the underground dance music scene. 

We’re super happy he took the time to record this amazing mix just after he launched his new record label CRFT Music.

Artist Biography

KaZkO is an Underground DJ and Producer all the way from Sri Lanka. Whatever the time or place, music has to express the feelings, and this is something he tries to bring to his own productions and DJ sets.
He joined the Electronic music scene in 2020 with his first Tech House record release.

KaZkO jumped into progressive house, melodic techno, and Afro house in early 2021, and he won tremendous support across a broad spectrum of DJs and producers.
The busy release agenda will mark the beginning of 2021 with some originals and remixes.
His passion and commitment are evident, and this is just the beginning of his journey with much more to come..

ARTIST BIO

Kryptone Music is an artist who has immersed himself in Colombo's underground music scene and, within a short period of time, has discovered his path to the roots of organic and progressive house music. He is one of the founders of Time After Time Record Label and Events. His unique signature in mixing techniques has caught the attention of Sri Lankan underground music followers, and he has undeniably been recognized as one of the key DJs in the island's electronic dance music culture. Kryptone has been producing music with his experimental taste for rhythmic and hypnotic melodies that bring bliss to the soul. His debut EP was released in 2020 by Emotional Content Records, and more releases are scheduled for 2023 under RYNTH, Stellar Fountain, 3rd Avenue and Time After Time.
