Swiss producer Avasono returns to Manual Music's MNL subsidiary for a third appearance after last years' 'Overwhelming Picture' single and his 2017 label debut 'Hummingbird' which both gained a lot of support throughout the scene.

'Riells' might just be his best work to date. An underground tune that starts out with some menacing rolling beats and percussion, quickly to evolve in to a full fletched and very mature sounding crowd pleaser. Stick around until the second part of the track where the synths truly open up and show their pure bliss!

On remix duties we're incredibly happy to welcome one of the hottest producers of the moment on board; Greece's own Ziger! His productions have found their way into the sets of every A-list DJ over recent years, and he's one of progressive house's best selling artists at the moment. A fact which shouldn't surprise you when listening to the stellar remix he created for Avasono.

PREMIERE: Sebastian Sellares - Epiphany In The Woods (Golan Zocher Remix) [Or two strangers]

Antrim's Or Two Strangers imprint welcomes Sebastian Sellares to the label with 'Epiphany In The Woods'. Also known under his previous moniker Monje, Sebastian hails from one of Argentina’s most talent rich regions in Cordoba. His smooth progressive minded sound has become a favourite amongst old and new school fans of the genre, landing him releases on ICONYC, PHW Elements and Massive Harmony Records. Now fresh off an EP for AMITABHA to begin the year, Sebastian debuts on Or Two Strangers alongside remixes from Simply City and Golan Zocher. 

The title and showcase piece ‘Epiphany In The Woods’ leads the release off with a smooth, melodious vibe. Anchored by a warm, buoyant groove and waves of finely tuned percussion, it's an evolving atmospheric storyboard which first captures your imagination. Delicate shades and tantalizing motifs just add to its enigmatic nature, before eventually melting down into a euphoric break, perfectly setting up a heartfelt finale. The companion piece ‘Aeris’ follows suit with warm bass swells, rolling rhythms and exotic percussion. Built around a series of melodic clusters and pixie-like fragments it’s quite mystical in nature. As it strips down into the main break you get what is perhaps one of the EPs most memorable moments; as airy refrains and a rising cinematic sphere continue to elevate the mood as the beats drop for a glorious sonic moment.

The first interpretation of ‘Epiphany In The Woods'’ is provided by Simply City who is making his label debut. Hailing from Chile but now based in Montreal, Cesar Romero aka Simply City has become a fixture in the city’s burgeoning nightlife, earning a spot as one of Stereo’s resident DJs. On the production front he lays claim to releases on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and Nick Warren’s Hope Recordings. Now making his first appearance on Or Two Strangers he delivers a superb take on 'Epiphany In The Woods'. Incredibly rhythmic with fresh design qualities and soft, creamy melodies, it moves elegantly across it's ten minute running time. Immediately captivating as an array of shifty atmospherics and tranquil melodies create a redolent air. Warm, dreamy overlays soon follow and you’re effortlessly taken away into a melodic wonderland. Subtle yet powerful, it’s blissful theme plays off smooth chord changes and subtle modulation for a string of magic moments, making for an exhilarating third act finale.

The second and final interpretation of ‘Epiphany In The Woods’ is provided by Golan Zocher who also makes his label debut. Whether paired with sometime studio partner Kamilo Sanclemente or going solo, the Colombia born, Israel based artist always seems to find his tracks in the sets of Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. It’s a trend that has found him amongst the progressive house elite and now leads him to Antrim's burgeoning Or Two Strangers imprint. Always a creative remixer, Golan provides a quirky yet powerful version which complements the previous two mixes wonderfully. The groove gets beefed up with punchy kicks and thick slabs of bass while a mountainous tonal theme begins to take shape. The rugged rhythmic qualities sit in stark contrast to the melodic elements from the original, eventually leading to a tranquil break before phasing noise reignites the groove for a powerful finale. A superb remix from Golan which rounds out an impressive EP from Sebastian Sellares, who continues to impress with his new moniker.

Cid Inc's Replug Records caps off a successful year by welcoming Dmitry Molosh back to the label for a new artist showcase. The Belarus native and progressive music favourite rounded out 2018 with his chart topping 'Detektor' EP for the Finnish imprint. 2019 has seen further successes, with EP's for Guy J's Armadillo Records and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music sitting as the highlights. Now fresh off a contribution to Nick Warren's Balance compilation, Dmitry lands back on Replug with 'Cascade'.

Firmly sitting amongst progressive music's elite, Dmitry continues to deliver some of the genre's most beloved tracks with 'Cascade' being the latest in a long line of gems. Fuelled by rhythm and groove; it's chunky foundation, driving percussion and buoyant rhythmic core form the backbone of this exhilarating journey. Panning effects and emerging atmopheres smoothly segue into the main break, shifting the narrative further into melodic territory. Sitting comfortably in an ethereal yet emotive space, the lead motif rises, resonating on a warm and inviting frequency, gently evolving across a foggy atmospheric backdrop, before a gentle rush sparks a thrilling final act.

The companion piece 'Step By Step' follows suit with an equally impressive display of rhythm and groove. Spacious and energetic, it's a creation built around rolling bass tones and vibrant chord stabs. Ethereal phrases and buzzing effects converge as the first act unfolds, while colourful vocal fragments shift energy into the break. Timely modulation adds drama and tension across the one minute interlude, ultimately reaching a swirling crescendo and perfectly setting up a powerful third act.

Dmitry's long standing relationship with Replug has spawned several of progressive music's finest moments over the last half decade. 'Cascade' once again follows suit and looks set to be one of the winter seasons most in demand releases.

Renowned Buenos Aires-based DJ/Producer Sebastian Busto makes his label debut with December and The Miracle, and the label enlists the remix talents of Dmitry Molosh, Zankee Gulati and Lèrr to create an array of stunning interpretations across another exceptional 5-track onedotsixtwo package.

The pulsating energy of December is immediately mesmerising as Sebastian Busto creates the perfectly beautiful dreamy atmosphere that he is renowned for. Elegantly layered melodies float and flow with flawless precision, as his unique musical vision is showcased magnificently. Following on, The Miracle dives deeper with a wonderfully evocative percussive groove and equally blissful melodic layering that, once again, perfectly displays this Argentine artist’s immense talents to perfection. Having previously released on the likes of Balkan Connection, The Soundgarden and Movement, Sebastian Busto’s onedotsixtwo debut will be a 2020 highlight for sure.

The first December remix comes from Belarusian DJ/Producer Dmitry Molosh. Celebrated for his inimitable progressive sound, Dmitry is at the forefront of the new wave of the current scene as one of its most talented forward thinking electronic artists. His stunning remix is fuelled with funk and fire to create an utterly enthralling ride fuelled with rising anticipation and spine-tingling euphoric elation. 

Through his love of exploring progressive realms of music, the Sydney-based Australian DJ/Producer Zankee Gulati is rapidly making his mark on the scene. A blossoming production career has already seen him exhibit his immense talents on the likes of Clinique, Soundteller, Particles, Visceral, Balkan Connection, and most recently, The Soundgarden. His remix of December has seen exclusive early support from Hernan Cattaneo on his Resident radio show, and it is easy to see why. Deeply hypnotic and with a wonderfully intricate arrangement this is masterfully melodic music of the highest order.

Completing this expansive 5-track package is an utterly blissful remix of The Miracle courtesy of Lèrr. This Montenegrin DJ/Producer is recognised for his unique style combining groovy, deep, melodic, progressive vibes. His enchanting musical creations have appeared on Balkan Connection, Sound Avenue, Asymmetric, Trndmsk and more so far in 2020, and his deeply delicious reworking of The Miracle stands out as one of his finest yet.

Handpicked by Jody Wisternoff & James Grant, the Anjunadeep 12 Samplers feature memorable moments from this year’s flagship compilation. Anjunadeep 12 Sampler 1 includes tracks from Karmarin and Ezequiel Arias as well as a new Jody Wisternoff and James Grant rework. 

James Grant and Jody Wisternoff open the sampler with their remix of A. Silver Mt. Zion’s track ’13 Angels Standing Guard ‘Round The Side Of Your Bed’. After Jody recommended James to watch the hit Netflix series Top Boy, James fell in love with the track: “‘Angels Standing Guard’ provides the backdrop to one of the most poignant scenes in the show. The haunting vocals were crying out for a remix, so we were pretty chuffed to get our hands on the stems and to be able to include the mix on Anjunadeep 12”.

Karmarin marks his Anjunadeep debut with ‘Selene’, an uplifting dance track leading with carefully crafted synths and fluctuating arpeggios. Closing the release, Argentina producer Ezequiel Arias returns to the label with his first solo Anjunadeep release ‘Solar’. Charterised with a pulsing bass and percussion-laden grooves, Ezequiel demonstrates why he’s been supported by Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Eelke Kleijn.
