Alena Vox es una DJ, productora y co-fundadora de los sellos Playas Misterio y Discos Pa’ Llevar. Nacida en la Ciudad de México, donde se ha embarcado en una búsqueda interminable para resaltar los vínculos de sonidos de distintas eras y ritmos con una esencia innovadora que abarca desde World Music pasando por Disco, Downtempo, House, hasta un sonido muy particular de Alena Vox al que le gusta llamar “Balearic Trance”. Creando un diálogo sonoro diverso y bailable en donde destacan sonidos de  sintetizadores oníricos y líneas de bajo resonantes.

Yuka Mizuhara and Kiko Mizuhara are undoubtedly among the most culturally influential sisters today. While Yuka is a darling of major fashion brands and media, she has never limited herself to that realm. She has collaborated musically with the legendary Japanese musician Haruomi Hosono and has hosted the renowned show "Waved Flower" on the famous British radio station NTS for five years.

Her music evokes the shimmering reflections on the water's surface as a gentle breeze blows during a summer sunset—romantic, relaxed, and dreamlike, a rare beauty. With an extensive vinyl collection, she skillfully navigates between jazz, electronic music, R&B, disco, and house, creating a smooth, relaxing, yet simultaneously exciting listening experience.

Yuka has performed as a singer with METAFIVE, led by Yukihiro Takahashi, and Haruomi Hosono. Last year, Bottega Veneta curated a special show called Bottega Radio on NTS, where Yuka Mizuhara and Haruomi Hosono collaborated to release a mix, showcasing their profound musical background to fans. Moreover, she has infused her unique humor and artistic taste into Kiko's personal brand, OK, demonstrating her remarkable talent in the fashion industry as well.

We crushed on New York’s @shannon1dj while listening to her regular Lot Radio show, and couldn’t miss the chance of inviting her to play Lecken on her tour last Fall. Driven by a connoisseur’s passion for house, garage and ballroom-inspired club sounds, DJ Shannon glides with impressive dexterity between US and UK club styles whilst maintaining a slick, propulsive and unmistakably sexy groove. We just love how she cooks up a dance floor and this session (recorded at AEDEN, 17/11/2023), that doesn't loosen its grip for its entire length, is excellent proof of that.

Ūmboma is a global-forward sound experience led by Miss Alicia and Omar Ahmad. Ūmboma blends of Afro, Arab, and Latin contemporary rhythms and energies that run from meditative & psychedelic, to frenetic and pulsing. Omar imbues live world drums into our sets to bridge the connection between the DJ booth and the audience, and they often invite attendees to play instruments they've brought along with with. The word Ūmboma is a combination of Swahili, Arabic, and Spanish words that translates to “a congregation of Freedom and Dance”. Ultimately they are seeking to cross borders and connect cultures (and spirits) through sound.

Notes on the Mix ///

"This mix is from our all night set from the Bunker back in July. We started that night with some mid tempo psychedelic rhythmic sounds then ramped up into a raucous peak that stayed high energy until the very end. This mix starts right when we were getting into peak time. In all of our sets we bounce off each other song by song in a very co-creative kind way. The music is a dynamic blend of Afro/Arab/latin global club tracks- almost like a dialogue between the cultures. There are different languages, chanting, etc all with a very percussive overlay. By this point we were really locked into building the vibes (and temperature!) of the room. We hope this mix not only makes listeners dance, but feel more connected to people around the world."
