The Druid is a Magic Class tower that made its debut in the initial release of Bloons TD 6, alongside the Alchemist. The Druid can be chosen and unlocked in-game between Levels 15-17 and Levels 19-20. At base, the Druid throws 5 sharp thorns that each pop one bloon each. These thorns are thrown in a shotgun spray, each thorn having random projectile deviation with each spray of thorns.

Druids have three upgrade paths, each upgrade path producing various attacks that specialize in the power of nature: Storm, Jungle, and Wrath. Druid's Tier 2 and 3 upgrades begin to encompass the true nature of each upgrade path. Lightning and whirlwinds (via Heart of Thunder and Druid of the Storm) are the specialty of Path 1, swarms of oak thorns and rapidly growing brambles (Heart of Oak and Druid of the Jungle) are among the earthly spells that Path 2 offers, and Path 3 offers the power of monkey nature by embracing their inner violence (Heart of Vengeance and Druid of Wrath).

It costs $340 on Easy, $400 on Medium, $430 on Hard and $480 on Impoppable. 

The Druid is a white-tan monkey that throws several small wooden thorns, which can destroy multiple bloons and/or layers, depending on the distance, similar to a shotgun. This tower's thorns; however, are ineffective against most special bloons attributes and requires upgrades to get much farther than that. Unfortunately, a majority of their early upgrades cannot detect camo attributes on its own and must be assisted by towers such as the Monkey Village and its camo detection upgrades or the camo revealing of the Monkey Wizard's Shimmer or Monkey Sub's Submerge And Support. The first path for the Druid is similar to the first path of the Monkey Apprentice in BTD5. It is more powerful in groups with both its wrath and jungle forms being much more effective with other monkeys or Druids. 

Path 1 focuses on dealing damage to grouped bloons and knockback. Hard Thorns adds 1 pierce to each thorn, and the thorns can now pop any bloon type. Heart of Thunder is similar to the Wizard Monkey's Lightning Bolt from BTD5, dealing damage to multiple bloons. (Up to 30 for each bolt) Druid of the Storm can blow back up to 30 bloons, pushing them towards the entrance, similar to Downdraft. Ball Lightning summons large balls of electricity that deal damage to multiple bloons. Finally, Superstorm summons massive tornadoes that can blow back MOAB-Class bloons, at the cost of pierce. Superstorm also increases the damage for most of the Druid's attacks.

Path 2 focuses on dealing damage from far away. Starting with increased projectile count with Thorn Swarm and regrow stripping with Heart of Oak. The Druid's Tier 3 upgrade is Druid Of The Jungle, which insta-kills the strongest non MOAB class bloon on-screen and leaves thorns on the track. Then the Tier 4 upgrade is Jungle's Bounty, which generates 240 cash per ability use, with more money being able to be added by nearby Banana Farms, as well as improving Jungles's Bounty's ability, and finally, the Tier 5 upgrade is Spirit Of The Forest, which lays damaging vines across the track.

Path 3 focuses on dealing more damage conditionally. Druidic Reach increases the Druid's range by a decent amount. Heart of Vengeance increases attack speed and damage for each life lost, and Druid of Wrath increases attack speed further, as long as the Druid is attacking bloons. Poplust buffs nearby Druids' attack speed and pierce, stacking up to 5 times on any single Druid. Finally, Avatar of Wrath does 4 damage by default, plus 1 more damage for each 3,000 RBE that round, capping at 90,000 RBE, or an extra 30 damage.
