I had the honour to open up our HS12-Floor at "Gits en 3er" at Hive. It was legendary from beginning to the end. Straight fire on the dancefloor after 5 minutes opening the floor and it was the intro I most enjoyed to this day.

Alejandro Mosso is an Argentinian electronic music composer, producer and live performer as well as a sound and light installation artist currently based in Berlin.

A prolific studio wizard that has developed a rich discography of more than 35 EPs and 5 albums for world renown labels since 2002. He’s appeared on industry classics such as Cocoon, Hivern Discs, Third Ear, and Sushitech, while also launching projects lush with musicality on Do Not Sit, Akbal, When We Dip XYZ, Sol Selectas, and his own Mosso imprint. Alejandro has collaborated with genre-defining artists such as Ricardo Villalobos, Burnt Friedman, and many more.

Marley Carroll’s unassuming origins as a classically-trained percussionist were shattered after he took top honors at a statewide DJ battle at the prodigious age of 17. The experience catapulted him into notoriety and catalyzed his path towards career musicianship. 'Fejká' is not just a word, but a concept - a melodic blend between soft, dreamy atmospheres and the punchy vibe of techno. Torn between those two worlds like a lone wanderer, he developed his own unique way to find a perfect balance between both. His music offers a very atmospheric and soulful sound, laying somewhere between melancholy and euphoria, resulting in a unique interpretation of emotions which is seldom heard on the dancefloor. Originally from the Black Forest in Germany, he began producing his first tracks at just 17. Influences such as Kiasmos, HVOB, and Christian Löffler, contributed significantly to his development and shaped his atmospheric, and yet punchy style, until he received a personal invite from none other than Christian Löffler himself to join his label, Ki Records.

Cafe Mambo × Absolut DJ Competition 2022 w/ CK

Equally as creative as a solo artist as he is working alongside a selection of regular collaborators, San Francisco’s Andrew Rasse, aka Butane, continues to expand his rich discography of quality productions across house, techno, minimal and beyond. Fresh from a run of releases on his home imprint Extrasketch, September sees Rasse back alongside fellow studio partner and Alphahouse alumnus Andras Toth as the pairing return to the label for the fifth time with ‘Reaction’. 

Opener ‘The King Is Dead’ is a low-slung minimal production peppered with punchy tribal drums and icy hats, while ‘Weather The Storm’ remains decidedly deep but takes the energy up with a driving bassline and off-kilter rolling percussion, creating a snaking, hazy groove. ‘New York New York’ is a freeform funky tech house cut, with acid-fuelled stabs and warping electronics which create a smoky late-night affair.  ‘Elevate’ sees the pair dive deep into a drummy, cascading trip through hypnotic heavy metallic techno textures. To close, ‘Little Reminder’ mixes playful organic tones with a heady groove to offer up a certified after-hours cut.
