◉ Sebastian Borca aka Verzila is a local electronic music producer and promoter, the one behind the well-known eponymous YouTube channel with the same name. Born in Sighetu Marmatiei, the northernmost point of Romania, he developed a passion for modern electronic dance rhythms from the age of 14, exploring numerous genres and subgenres. In time, he finds various flavors of house and techno to be the ones he resonates with the most and starts dedicating more and more attention to music. In February 2008 he created his YouTube channel, uploading tracks he liked from various artists, including friends and emerging talents. With a focus on deep house, tech house, microhouse, minimal and techno, the initiative enjoys massive success and receives support from many directions. Steadily, the venture becomes a solid promotion platform, currently counting over 102k subscribers, 55 million views and 5479 videos. A new chapter was written in May 2017 when he established Welter Records, an independent imprint aiming to offer more exposure to international and Romanian artists who find themselves at the beginning of their careers. With 200+ releases and 60+ podcasts until now. The second chapter was born in 2021 with the Inunct Music project label that is a free to download label with the purpose of spreading music for free and helping artists expose their vision through music. Currently Inunc Music has 20+ releases. When it comes to mixing he’s rarely seen behind the decks, playing only at a limited number of parties, mostly the ones organised with his long-time friend Mofescu through his party label Oscilatii.

For the seventh edition we welcome a romanian heavyweight, which im very happy to have on this podcast, Plusculaar! Born in Romania in the late 80’s, Plusculaar got in touch with the local club scene at a very young age due to his brother’s sake and he suddenly fell in love for that new dreamy world. That was a crucial moment of his life, knowing that music would have been an essential part of his life. Since then, his interests have been 100% focused on music and he rapidly learned first how to djing and then how to produce his own tracks. Moving at the age of 18 to Amsterdam, he started playing both there and on his native Romania, counting more than 100+ venues in his home-country.
His superlative skills behind the decks merged with the constantly growing experience and his finest music selection led him to play in United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, France, Lebanon, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, Holland, and all over Romania, both in clubs, big festival and exclusive intimate private parties.
This whismical journey continued during the years, and in 2014 Plusculaar took one of the biggest step of his career, starting his label called ‘Binaural Arts’ – a place to spread his love for music and idea of sound – which releases music both on vinyl and digital from renowned artists and newcomers and of course his own productions.
Meticulous and mindful of every detail, he saw his tracks being released on famous labels such as iO Mulen’s fabulous label, “Pleasure Zone” , “Zbroy” , “WE or US” , “Habitat” ,  “Archipel Recordings”, “Conceptual Records”, “Tzinah”, “Hashplant”, “Crocus”, “Inwave” and “Metroline LTD” to name a few, always providing serious micro house bouncy beats combined his unmistakble groovy hypnotic touch.

Hailing from San José, Costa Rica, Artro has been immersed in the world of sound for nearly two decades. His multifaceted musical journey encompasses drumming, DJing, sound production, and field recordings, each serving various artistic purposes. Artro operates primarily from his studio, Trial Und Error, situated within Central America's pioneering electronic music record store and distributor, Sala Sinestesia.

Artro's sonic explorations span the globe, covering a diverse range of genres such as Ambient, breaks, micro, minimal, house, Electro, Dub, Techno, Acid, IDM, and more. Since 2012, he has been releasing music and co-founded microminimal records. He is also an integral part of projects like Atypical Noise and Selected Beats within Costa Rica.

When curating events, Artro tailors his sound to match the concept, collaborators, audience, and venue, creating a unique musical journey that traverses a spectrum of emotions and experiences. His compositions are characterized by rich textures, intricate patterns, and an organic, rhythmic flow that unites everything.

Artro meticulously selects handpicked records and digital releases, including his own and those from his friends. He has delved into live audiovisual performances, expanding his artistic repertoire. His music and unique vibe have graced various platforms, including podcasts, festivals, radio stations like Mixology and 104.7 Hit, as well as international venues in Nicaragua, Honduras, Beijing, Houston, New York, Panamá, Chengdu, Qingdao, Honduras, Romania, London, El Salvador, Colombia, and throughout Costa Rica.

His performances have illuminated renowned spaces such as Club Vertigo, Antik, TBA Brooklyn, Club Retrovisor, Menos1, M+ Moduldar REEF (Honduras), Ocaso Festival, and ESPOL Festival Ecuador. Artro has also shared the stage with distinguished artists like Anthony Collins, Taimur Agha, Flo Massé, Julie Marghilano, Lee Burton, Resom, Jenifa Mayanja, Okain, Ena Lind, Ray Okpara, Dsan, Dance Spirit, and many others, establishing himself as a constant and innovative force in the world of electronic music.

Artro's prolific discography dates back to 2012, with his debut EP, "Obtalá," followed by releases on labels such as Half Seas Over (Costa Rica), DZB Records (Spain), Beatamin Recordings, SLOH/Handcrafted Label, Impresión Label, Dul Recordings, and Múltiple Música. Excitingly, he is set to release his music on vinyl through prestigious record labels like BLKmarket Music, with more releases on the horizon, cementing Artro's status as a dynamic and forward-thinking artist.
