Ocean Lam has built and cultivated with drive and her passion for music for over more than a decade. She has played at many major festivals and underground clubs in Asia, Epizode, Wonderfruit, Intro, Equation and Clockenflap, Sonar HK and in Germany Melt and Feel Festival. She was tapped to represent Hong Kong at its first live edition of Boiler Room at Shi Fu Miz festival. Played in Berlin since 2010 and around Europe as her annual tour playing with many international artists and label nights. Curated line up at the first Sonar HK dome stage of local and international guests.
 
The uncontested regional opener for heavyweight names like Efdemin, Oskar Offermann, Nick Hoppner, Sammy Dee and many more. 

As an music director and co-founder of Social Room club for 6 years and brought lots of artists from Europe to her Hypnotic events in Hong Kong. Ocean is also a producer of her own music, with releases “Auditory Touch” EP on @moteurvillemusique (#Detroit) with Eduardo De La Calle, Jay Tripwire remixes, “ The Same Boat” EP with Fresh Funky S on Berlin Biotop Label, collaborated release with Mr Ho (Klasse Wrecks) on Underradar Label (Indonesia), HK Typhoon8 Records and her most recent release on https://soundcloud.com/weareplaymusic2020 Records

Altone is a wizard of lo-fi dub techno sound. With Dynamics the Japanese artist presents his 2nd EP on Etui Records.

All 3 tracks are subtle builders. Layers of noise and filtered synth chords are swirling around. They always have this tiny touch of reverb to fill up the soundscape with a little melancholy. Underneath there is this rumbling minimalistic beat to keep you grooving. Can you feel the sub bass?

The sound he holds dearest is the inorganic loop which has eliminated anything extra. He is aiming to recreate the unchangeable world of the deepest bottom of the ocean, in a far away place on the other side of Mars, and the world which lies in the most fundamental part in your heart.

After releasing music on outstanding labels such as Greyscale or Primary Colours we are glad to have him back for another journey into his own world of sounds.
