We welcome Nick Retz a.k.a Retza for the second edition of Soundscapes. Soundscapes curates an artist every month who specializes in crafting unique compositions which transport listeners on an immersive journey through the sonic landscape.

Retza is an exceptional producer hailing from the vibrant city of Melbourne and is currently based in London. With an unwavering dedication to his craft, Retza has captivated the underground music scene, drawing in listeners, garnering praise, and amassing a loyal following over the past few years. His unique blend of house and techno has set him apart, earning him recognition and acclaim from industry peers and music enthusiasts alike.

Starting with bands in his formative years, he soon transitioned into solo productions as he matured and honed his artistic vision. Retza's rise to prominence as Australia's next electronic music export has been celebrated with appearances at prestigious events including Rainbow Serpent Festival, Let Them Eat Cake, Chi Wow Wah Town, Pitch Music & Arts, and international tours that have taken him around the globe. Notably, he headlined a captivating set in Dubai at an event hosted by the iconic All Day I Dream, curated by the legendary Lee Burridge.

Additionally, Retza has found a home at Satya label, where his creative vision aligns with the product, design, and overall vision of the label. His music, carefully crafted over the past year, resonates with his passion for spacey house, providing a transcendent experience on the dance floor.

Retza continues to push the boundaries of his artistry making his mark on the electronic music scene with a string of upcoming solo releases and collaborations on the horizon. He has recently embarked on a thrilling new endeavour as the host of his very own show on Bloop Radio London, a platform showcasing his ever-evolving musical creations and sharing captivating tracks he discovers along his journey. Fred und Luna live in a fashion boutique in Karlsruhe/Germany. The two mannequins are the muses of musician, poet and photo and filmmaker Rainer Buchmüller.

Inspired by his mannequin friends and his love for German electronic music of the past decades, Rainer produces music, that he optionally calls Elektrokraut or Krautelektro: a contemporary melange of repetitive rhythms, enchanting melodies, electronic soundscapes and elements of the Krautrock era.
