The Berlin-based Iranian DJ, producer, and ‘Ubersee Music’ label figurehead has had a number of heavyweight releases throughout the years on labels such as ‘Kompakt’, ‘Systematic Recordings’, and ‘Kling Klong’, and his ascendance to relevancy was finally confirmed, when his ground-breaking album 'Letting Go', hit the number one spot on Beatport towards the end of 2018.

The lead single, a collaboration with Ruede Hagelstein, was widely regarded as one of last year's best tracks, with Joris Voorn, Guy J, Adriatique, and Bebetta, all featuring it in their charts.

What a ride this has been collaborating with these amazing artists over the years, deep gratitude to everyone involved, supporting us, & loving us through it all!!! LOVE

This did not stop her to pursue her passion for music. NIIXII moved then to Barcelona for her master's degree in Law, and was unexpectedly welcomed by a whole new world of music and a rave culture where she felt home right away. From here on NIIXII´s story begins to fulfill her calling for playing outstanding music which takes her audience on magical and unforgettable journey.

Sol Selectas welcomes back Iranian / Berlin artist Namito for his 3rd solo release called “Legend”. 

The song is a story of remembrance, a heroic tree exists in solitude, with every branch holding a legendary story.  Singer Tannaz Abboussian, who also sang on his release “Wait Til The End”, is featured on this song.  Namito’s original creates a solid house foundation with progressive chords that elevate the tune into a dynamic breakdown of analog bass stabs, and then Tannaz’s beautiful voice. The ethereal Farsi vocals climax, and blast us back into the groove. 

For the remix we welcome 2 more Persian artists, Shan Nash and Rebeat, both appearing on Sol Selectas for their 1st time . Their remix strips back the groove, chops up the vocal, and takes the track in a tech-ier direction. 

The cover by Helia Jamali portrays an old legend carrying blossoming branches, traversing across the mountains of destiny, into the unknown.

Born in November 1971 in Tehran, Iran, Namito grew up in a tranquil middle class family in the Northern part of the city. After witnessing the bloody revolution and a notorious war in Iran his parents decided to send him to West Germany for a better future.
In West-Berlin Namito visited the school where he quickly learned German and adopted to the new environment. His enthusiasm for the art of djing was so strong that he dropped out of school and in 1989 started a career persisting now over three decades.
What first took off as DJ in the local, buzzing Berlin Techno scene turned international as soon as Namito released his own music productions on renown, international labels such as Kling Klong , Systematic Recordings , Kompakt , Yoshitoshi ,  Selador and Sol Selectas only to name a few. Residencies in the best Berlin clubs like Tresor and Sternradio were followed by international gigs in all continents.
In the recent years Namito co-produced many other artists including Marc Romboy (Innervisions, Kompakt, Bedrock) , where he also shared the stage live with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra and the legendary Grandmaster Flash with whom he made parts of the music for the Netflix show called “The Get Down”.
In 2019 Namito’s track “Stone Flower” became an international hit and was the best selling Electronica track of the year on Beatport, the world’s leading shop and platform for electronic music. 
That Namito doesn't limit himself as an artist only to being a music producer and DJ, he displayed with the first exhibition of his paintings from August till the end of November 2018 in Berlin at the gallery of the famous nhow Hotel.
