Quadrant Soundscape are Tommy Harrison aka Asphalt Layer and Wilson Logan from Manchester UK. Together, they are the minds behind Dub Explorations, which is a podcast and also a club night. The podcast itself is approaching 100 shows, most 3 hours in length which is an insight into the dedication they have for hunting great ambient, deep and dubby music to showcase and push forward. We sat down with Tommy and had a chat about the podcast and their parties.

Tupahue es el tercer sencillo del próximo álbum de Derrok, Transiciones—un viaje de electrónica 
orgánica profundamente conectado con los paisajes de Chile. El tema toma su nombre original en 
mapudungun del cerro San Cristóbal en Santiago, y combina una línea de bajo potente, estructuras 
de acordes progresivos y guitarras eléctricas psicodélicas. Es una pieza hipnótica y emotiva que 
refleja el espíritu de la transformación y la conexión con la tierra ancestral.

Tupahue is the third single from Derrok's upcoming album Transiciones—a deep, organic 
electronic journey rooted in Chilean landscapes. Named after the original Mapudungun name for 
San Cristóbal Hill in Santiago, the track blends a driving bass line, evolving progressive chord 
structures, and psychedelic electric guitars. It’s a hypnotic and emotive piece that captures the 
spirit of transformation and connection to ancestral lands.

“Temple of Motion” is my latest deep club release — a hypnotic blend of Tech House, Afro House grooves, and Melodic Techno emotion.

I crafted this track to move both body and spirit: punchy kicks, bouncing basslines, and tribal percussion meet atmospheric synth layers and evolving arpeggios. Designed for the dancefloor, it’s all about flow, tension, and release.

This is more than a track — it’s a ritual. A rhythmic journey through sound, created for long nights, dark clubs, and emotional motion.

The young talent has a vibrant catalogue showcasing the variety of his output. He is equally at home with melodic techno, acid and broken beats, such as on his releases ‘Teriyaki Donut’ and ‘Telepathic Seduction’ on James Zabiela’s Born Electric imprint. Last year he joined Sasha’s Last Night On Earth roster with the uplifting yet groovy ‘Marlon Brando’ EP.

Headed up by ascending, London based artist Jody Barr, Portable Minds is an independent imprint that aims to operate outside of the constraints of close-mindedness. The intention set by Barr is for the platform to allow both himself and his peers to express themselves freely without having to compromise their productions and the output will predominantly take the shape of single-artist EPs that showcase the more daring and unique facets of participants studio skills.
