a hard fast trip with industrial notes. clarity's taste for trancey techno that evokes space travels, forest magic, spiritual journeys and memories of London warehouse rave. she draws inspiration from berlin, copenhagen and london's trancey techno energies.

clarity (she/they) is a doctor of longevity medicine in silicon valley finding spirituality in nature and rave. she had the great pleasure of indulging in London's beautiful techno scene for the past couple of years, becoming deeply inspired by the city's artistic rave expressions. she has tremendous energy on the dancefloor as captured in her front row Boiler Room appearances (e.g. Djrum, Nyra, Yak). she is a resident of London's warehouse series rave.signal, as well as played for a number of fabulous parties including h_t_b_x, riposte.london, ggi.club, musa.platform, and planetfunasmr. she is now based in California and has found family here in the techno scene where parties by directtoearth strike particularly deep in her rave soul. though she still goes back to London/Europe to DJ and dance.

If we have to name an artist with substantial productivity and constant quality output, certainly Restive Plaggona (or Plaggona when his technoid work is concerned) would be one of the first to come in our minds. His numerous gems released on DVNTT, Moral Defeat, Collapsing Market, Rafarta Records, Labrynth , and on his own imprint "Several Minor Promises" prove that quantity and quality can perfectly go together hand in hand. Notwithstanding his busy schedule, Restive Plaggona found some time to elaborate a uniquely intense mix for Thrènes, encapsulating his dark-driven vision in music.
We are waiting with growing impatience his forthcoming material on various labels in the near future.
