Une batterie de sons vibrants à nous faire danser et nous sentir vivants ! Voilà le voyage musical que nous propose l'énergique LOULOU FERRARI au détour de ce mix inédit. Comme toujours avec elle, le groove s'exprime et (re)trouve tout son sens, en couleur et en cadence, en rythme et en évidence.

Tout a commencé très tôt et en musique pour l'annécienne Louise Vallet, qui ne se doutait pas encore qu'elle deviendrait un jour la LOULOU FERRARI qu'on connaît bien désormais. Elle embrasse sa passion bien avant l'âge de raison et pousse les portes du conservatoire à l'âge de 6 ans. Premiers pas déjà très rythmés, elle passe plus de dix ans à étudier et se plonger dans le monde des percussions, une étape cruciale dans son parcours qui a eu de très belles répercussions. Battante et pas intimidée, elle sera batteuse dans plusieurs groupes dont Comet Gunn, et tellement décidée à faire du son qu'elle sort son premier album avec AB Records, les Escaliers. Et elle ne s'est pas arrêtée là.

Comme une suite sonore logique, LOULOU FERRARI s'initie au dee-jaying et passe aux disques et platines avec une envie débordante et croissante de mixer, tout le temps et partout. Des palaces comme le Mandarin Oriental, des Mazette et des Sacré pour des ambiances encore plus musicales, et même du Burning Man et d'autres festivals… où qu'elle soit et quoi qu';elle mixe, quelle que soit la foule qu'elle rassemble, une seule idée l'anime : partager ses voyages musicaux et son sens du groove unique.

Pour une heure de set comme ce mix inédit avec Radio Meuh ou pour une nuit entière à nous faire danser des oreilles et briller des yeux, LOULOU FERRARI nous entraîne dans un univers bien à elle, coloré et rythmé, où le groove vibre tant qu'on en dansera sur place, assurément.

This past visit to the Black Rock Desert in 2023, my wonderful friends at the Groundswell camp invited me to come play a guest set on the Kuker art car. As anybody who knows me can tell you, DJing on art cars and DJing at DeMentha are my two very favourite things to do at TTITD, so naturally I jumped at the opportunity. This was the set I played that Tuesday night in the deep playa. I still get goosebumps thinking about it. Hope you enjoy!

Huge thanks to the Groundswell crew for inviting me, especially Esteban and Maggie who orchestrated it, Suave who was crucial in connecting the dots, and Juanito who kept the monster moving! And big shoutouts to the other DJs that night who all played some incredible tunes!
