Without exaggeration, long ago in 2007, at the Pyramid club, it was thanks to Anton that I fell in love with the whole business, or rather, discovered it in a new way, and fell in love without looking back. Anton is one of the few who remains on the same enthusiasm and continues to act to this day. Plays, writes, organizes dances and rides no-no with guest sets.

Gabriel Bernardo é DJ e produtor cultural há 10 anos. É psicólogo, pesquisador da cidade e da produção de subjetividade, com foco no fenômeno das festas de rua. Fomentador da cena de música eletrônica de Porto Alegre, GB já circulou por vários estados do Brasil, tocando ou debatendo sobre o rolê. Em PoA, ajudou a construir o movimento de festas de rua, através da criação do Coletivo Arruaça em 2014, o que serviu de combustível para a renovação da cena. Em 2016, criou a festa Base PoA, pioneira na retomada das warehouse parties na cidade. Fez parte do selo Goma Rec., canal de distribuição de podcasts e músicas autorais de artistas nacionais. Atualmente tem dedicado-se à pesquisa acadêmica relacionada à temática da festa e da política. Como DJ, tem como marca a percussividade e o apreço pelos grooves raros.

The Sentaku cosmos expands by four tracks, two each from Lamalice and Dandeloo, for the overall sixth installment, Onogawa Kisaburō, on the label. The EP, named after a sumo ringer, who was the first ever recorded Yokozuna, circles – namley at least – around the label's preference for Japanese culture. Musically though, the four tracks on the EP or the artists have internalized the mantra to complement one another. While Dandeloo's takes are a bit more dreamy, Lamalice has some kind of rawness and this unfinished touch in his tracks. Also Lamalice's tracks aim a little bit more at the dance floor and have more peak-moments, while Dandeloo comes in more groovey. That's probably why we can speak of the ying and the yang here! However, Infinite Path, the A1, basically does what the track title foreshadows, it attracts the listener to its infinitive synth-line and guides one the path through the track-labyrinth, which is not an odyssee but a smooth journey. If you did not know how to start your set, here's your chance to groove into the night.

Exclusive: DJ Gerald - Hey Hey Stay One

DJ Gerald aka Himalaya Juice Culture or Nils Diezel in real life delivers the second catalogue number of Berlin-based label Fresh Tunez and the follow-up of Luca Piermattei's impressive Sounds From The Heart. DJ Gerald's five tracker, For President, is in no way inferior to Piermattei's composition as he comes in with four tracks that cover a versatile spectrum of sounds that complement each other on the one hand and lead to an overall nuanced listening experience on the other, partly aiming at the floors and partly aiming at the speakers or headphones at home. The B3, Hey Hey Stay One, is a two minute and forty-two seconds lasting construct that is as manifold as addictive and for sure makes the listener stay for one more track with the artist and his music. Starting off with spheric pads and a reverb Hey Hey Stay One is added a bass line and some vocals after roughly a minute. The cut vocals and backspin sounds accompany the spoken words before and after and add an almost HipHop-esque vibe to the track which feels home on the electrifying (electro) bass that is put under the before mentioned pads.
