Two of our incredibly talented, graduated @NightBassRecords Freshmen teamed up to deliver us this next release. @Blossomdj and @myShdws unveil the “Mind Games” EP, donning two major collaborations and two solo bangers. The first collab “Lotta Cash” kicks it off with fun sample work and a textured rolling bassline leading right into the looming intro on the collaborative “Mental”, followed by a bass-heavy drop. Blossom makes modulation great again in this next one, “Modulate”, and Shdws finishes off the package with bassline banger “Pull Up”. This EP offers a clear distinction between Shdws’ stripped down yet rhythmically complex approach and Blossom’s ominously flavored, high-energy beats, all culminating into one fire EP.

Our beloved @Petey-Clicks brings Night Bass his ‘Petey’s Clique’ EP. Distilled from the collaborative support of peers and friends from the likes of Qlank, Blossom, MNNR, Promnite & Hotfire, ‘Petey’s Clique’ is a total, club-ready package. The ominous groove and synchopated bassline in ‘Advice’ with @Qlank kick off the EP and melt seamlessly into the hypnotic synth work of @Blossomdj collab, ‘Overdrive’, a bubbly techno crossover with a driving bassline drop. A bit of 2-step with a touch of bass & breaks combine into the collaborative ‘Don’t Wanna’ with @MNNRmusic, whose frantic buildup and crunchy breakdown propels you into @Promnitebeats collab, ‘2 Moons’, a UK-influenced, underground-flavored banger with some hints of old school. Petey teams up with fellow Night Bass veteran @Hotfiredjs for this final track, ‘Universe’, where modern touches revitalize a mind-melting wobbly house beat, strongly rounding off the EP.

The unstoppable @Qlank lands back on @NightBassRecords with the biggest release he's had with us yet, his ‘Weird Times’ EP. The pensive melodies in ‘Lit’ featuring @JCStormz set a dark resonance for the release with the ominous tones following suit in ‘Dip’ where a menacing beat is joined by enough 808 to leave you shaking into the next track, ‘Naughty’, with @PVCukmusic on the vocals over frantic swells of UKG bass. Blossom knows exactly what she wants and she’s going for it. In a short time, the Night Bass associated DJ/producer has made her presence known with an array of assertive house productions, all of which radiate a bold, unmistakable style and scream her name out loud — Blossom.  

The London-born, Phoenix-raised talent caught the music bug early on. Blossom was classically trained and brought up playing 12 years in orchestra before she found her love for dance music. Garage Band and Logic Pro X soon took over, but it was enrolling at Dubspot, LA in 2015 where she knew she’d find her sound.  

Since then, she “Blossomed” so to speak. Instructed by Petey Clicks and DJ Rap, named one of “The 10 Best Female DJs in Phoenix" (2016), featured on Ghastly's episode of Diplo and Friends, and supported by tastemakers Dr. Fresch, AC Slater, Sonny Fodera and more; Blossom earned her stripes from the jump. Not to mention her support roles for Slushii, AC Slater, Destructo and Steve Aoki, among others. Plus, an "Expert" collaboration with reigning G-House champ, BIJOU.

Nothing, however, resonates more than her relentless work ethic, skillful mixing, and undying passion for music, as heard with her debut EP. Blossom’s freshly-dropped ‘Big Shot’ EP has instinctively found a home with Night Bass, but challenges any expectation of the label. A fiery party starter, the three-track release featuring TT The Artist and Outlaw The Artist revs up an excitement for what’s to come with three distinct moods: "Big Shot," "DYTAM" and "Anime." There's plenty more where this came from.

Watch out — because Blossom hasn’t fully bloomed just yet.
