Scientist - aka Hopeton Overton Brown - is a recording engineer and producer. 
He can take a lovely reggae song and twist it into a whole other science fiction dub universe. His bass textures alone are a thing of wonder - many remixers just turn up the bass but our man Scientist sculpts the sound into something completely new.
Here are some of his best dubs (IMHO), in collaboration with the rock-solid Roots Radics band, featuring Errol Flabba Holt on heavyweight bass and Style Scott (RIP) on drums.
I recommend the album Scientist Rids The World Of The Evil Curse Of Vampires as a gateway to his music.
If it helps you to find them, the Greensleeves albums have been reissued by VP Records with the name of the producer, Junjo (Lawes) in place of Scientist's. Same music, but the original Greensleeves discs may have better sound quality. You decide!

About this edit : @vibes4yoursoul
I came accross this song (and the highly recommended related LP "Kulanjan", released in 1999) several years back. It blends the sounds of two immense artists, Toumani Diabate of Mali & American blues legend Taj Mahal.
Always loved the melancholic dialog between Toumani's kora and Taj's blues guitar, as well as the perfect contrast between the aerial African singing from Toumani's band and Taj's deep & warm voice. As if these two musical universes were bound to meet.

So here's my take of it, where I added a slo-mo balearic feel while retaining (hopefully) the spiritual feel of the song. Hope you'll enjoy it, and that it will make you want discover the original album.
