DB COOPER is about self-destruction, recklessness and its consequences, for some. Started by frontman Arthur Murray, the whole thing was fleshed out at band practice. Bassist Tadhg relates "To tell a short story about how it came about Arthur had the song and was playing a bit of it...later in the band practice me and Arthur were speaking about John Cooper Clark, to which Isaac (drummer) responded 'is he the guy who jumped out of the plane'. The song was missing a second verse so we wrote one about DB Cooper, the actual guy who jumped out of the plane."
