Comin in HOTHOTHOT as part of the forthcoming DEBUT Blue Dollar Billz compilation, it's the gent that we all know and (hopefully) love, Frazer Ray bringing us this absolutely SKITZ bassy concoction guaranteed to get just about anybody's hips a-movin-and-a-shakin! Yep, even your nan with her dodgy hip, trust me!

The pitched vocal just CARRIES this tune through, reminding you to keep in time whilst dancing you RASCALS! Also super helpful when mixing as it ensures that you stay in phrase and you aren't clanging, which is definitely the real reason Frazer included it xx

BIIIG UP blue dollar, this comp is actually CRAYZEEE - SO MAD that they've had to split it into two seperate halves on Bandcamp cos of the SHEER AMOUNT OF HEAT!!! There's twelve tracks on each(!), and it pretty much sums up the UK underground right now, some heat from just about ALL CORNERS OF THE SCENE (Not enough proto-thatcher-step for my liking, but oh well you can't win 'em all!)

Taipan Trax is proud to finally present the first physical release of the label: TT001. Founded in 2021 by Leeds-based producer Phasmid, Taipan Trax has always sought to get up and comers heard, championing dark, impactful productions with an unsettling edge from across the world. As the label hits 50 tracks released to date, TT001 is a timely showcase of the distinct, bass-led sound of Taipan, with label regulars and new artists alike drawing upon multiple genres to form this long-awaited four track VA.

The finale of TT001 comes from the notorious Oldboy. Needing little introduction, Oldboy’s productions have made a major imprint upon the scene in recent years. Whilst usually dealing in dark and deadly 2 step and 140, Oldboy steps up the tempo here with ‘Scrap’ which, as the title suggests, is a gritty foray into the realm of jungle/dnb - with signature Taipan bass.
