Spoon Melter came together by recording & processing a detuned banjo, block flute, and basslines from the Arturia Microfreak. The vibe of the track made me think of a fierce yet sarcastic creature.

P I T is one of the aliases of Pietro Michi, sound artist and founder of Biodiversità Records. The project stems from a need to merge various influences from club music through a boundaryless approach, translating these sounds into a space that is at times non-functional. His sonic research also intersects with the concept of digital organisms, exploring alternative biotic realities that can exist and coexist across both digital and physical realms.

This mix was put together to present Hybridization Tales, a short EP that explores the fusion of creatures drifting between digital and organic ecosystems. Their union unfolds through intricate layers of tension, playful interludes, and profound transformation, culminating in an anxious catharsis that reflects the fragility of an uncertain future.
