30min on the bus with a new synth - randgrid for the iphone. it's an early-development banked synth with a nice feature set. the bank kit used here is the 909 retro. embedded version sounds noiser than it actually is.



one of my first attempts at a tune on the korg ds-10. for playback make sure you have means to reproduce true lows (sub-50Hz), as tune is quite bassy and was made using the koss porta pro headphones, which have superb lows (15Hz is within their linear response range, at 101dB sensitivity). also, if you really want to hear the original sound i encourage you to try the original 256kbps AAC, as soundcloud's embedded playback format distorts the sound quite a bit.
