Fueled by their desire to prove southern lyricists exist and naysayers wrong, Blud Bruthaz released ‘Blud Bruthaz 1st EP’ on January 26, 2011.  Shocking listeners with Jet Boi’s smooth delivery and Krypta’s commanding sledgehammer style, the five track mixtape drew rave reviews, spawning hit songs ‘My Dj’, a party anthem featuring their cousin JAWBREAKA, and ‘Pickin’ Up The Pieces’, in which the group showcased a more vulnerable side, instantly creating a small following from many diverse sections around the world.

The Blud Bruthaz are two brothers (Jet Boi and Krypta) who are rappers, songwriters, and video directors, determined to showcase their talents to the world. Formed independently June of 2010, the Blud Bruthaz released their self-titled debut EP January 26, 2011 and February 25, 2013 saw the release of their LP ‘League of Our Own’. Both members were born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The rap duo creates music purposefully aiming for emotional connection and reactions from fans by way of ‘mainstream DIY’. A term coined by group member Jet Boi, mainstream DIY means to present the look and feel of mainstream as independents or ‘Do It Yourself’ artists without diverting from reality. With a preference towards mature subjects such as hardship, love, and redemption, Blud Bruthaz perform with the intent of giving high quality entertainment, leaving listeners in state of euphoria.
