The Princess Variations is a concept album about imaginary goddesses of the Sun and Moon.  In classical music, variations are a series of reinterpretations of a basic melody or theme.  In that spirit, The Princess Variations spans many genres and styles, but is built on the foundation of a small series of motifs and themes.

It is a rock album.  It is an electronic album.  It's orchestral.  It's jazz.  It's spoken word.  It's a reflection on our place in the cosmos.

In 2017, a little girl named Matilda Jones found a sword in the very lake that, legend has it, was the spot where Arthur received Excalibur.  The Internet crowned her Queen Matilda.

The Child Queen (Work In Progress)

Chris Borecky is a composer / producer working in NYC's independent film scene.  His credits include "On a Country Road," an official selection of the Big Apple Film Festival (2014), and the New Directors' Film Festival (2014); and "Murder No. 3 at the Higgins Building," (2015), and "17 MPH," (2019), a film currently in post-production.  All three projects were produced by Tangolight Films.
