"Electric Water" will be the 1st single to be unveiled by Blue Movie® from their eagerly anticipated 3rd release now confirmed as “SYNTHETIC”.  This “teaser sample” demonstrates how the band has not only redefined their own sound "again", but may have given birth to a totally new and unheard genre, which they describe as “A Russian underground night club “.  Whatever they mean by that is left to be explained at a later time when the EP is released.  Blue Movie® is currently working on the video to “”Electric Water” which will accompany the single as well as a new comic based on the band’s new genre, style & members!

A transition once again from their last release "Delusions in Technicolor" and the debut release "8MM LOVESONGS" the band demonstrates their diversity in songwriting and originality. With the addition of 2 new key members, Blue Movie sets out to create not imitate the "future of music".

As part of Blue Movie/Black Film' s mission to innovate in all endeavors, this is a complete remake, combining two different and separate songs from the popular eighties band Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Redesigned from the ground up and woven together to create a tapestry of pulsing electronic sound that exists underneath a solid churning bass rhythm and strong, proclaiming, anthem-like vocal line.

This song was inspired by actual recent band events and intended to capture the range of feelings and emotions one goes through when reflecting on the hard and important decisions we are all forced to make in life, as well as excepting the decisions of others that effect us. Ignite encapsulates the manic wave of emotion instrumentally and lyrically as the song ranges from catchy attention grabbing choruses, to smooth heartfelt verses. The breakdown is mainly electronic, filled with deep stirring synths and an even deeper moving vocal line that is brimming with angst.

Inspired by the movie,"Them Lovely Bones", due to the impact of the story line. In order to bring it to life, the female underlying chorus parts were performed by Eileen Fox.  The song weaves in and out of the minds of the killer and victim, using the ghostly female vocals to give it the appropriate texture.

As the feature song of the album, Nebula introduced a sexier, darker side of Black Film with the release of this fetish-like music video. Heavy, rhythmic double pedals, accompanied by an infectious guitar riff and a contagious chorus equals that song you just can't get out of your head!! The song was intended to have a very anthem driven chorus that would imprint on your mind and soul. Mission Accomplished.

Track #3 off the 8MM Lovesongs EP is a remake from the band Saga. Tony Paris brought the idea to the band as one of 2 options from Saga, "On the Loose" and "Wind him up". The girls chose "On the Loose" because the bass line was so identifiable. When PJ joined the band during the 8MM recording sessions, he had his doubts about redoing this song. But as he took a good listen to the re-arranged version that Tony brought to him a week prior to going into the studio, PJ had a change of heart and went in to the 8MM Lovesongs recording sessions dropping the vocals to this song first. Ironically the band still opens most of their shows with "On The Loose"!

Track no. 6 A Nuclear Calm from the Delusions in Technicolor EP from Blue movie explores the sounds of Theater and Epic production. The video to the song (produced by Joseph Amandolea) is scheduled for a released date in late August of 2012.

 From inception, Blue Movie  has set out to make a unique collection of original music that treads the fine lines between musical genres. From studio to stage, the band strives to relay sincere, real emotion in all of their musical endeavors. 
     Blue Movie set out to design a sound that encapsulated many of the band's various musical influences including hard edged guitar riffs, driving bass runs, uncensored drumming, deep stirring synth lines, and catchy vocal phrasing. With "that" elusive concept cemented, the band released their debut EP, “8MM Love Songs” in late 2002. 
The sequel, "Delusions in Technicolor" (2004),  further expresses that mixture of composition which Blue Movie embodies.
      With their latest release titled "Synthetic III" (2005),  Blue Movie  adopted the alias "Black Film", embracing a darker tonality with raw aggressive energy. 
      The band's three EP's and multiple music videos have inspired a series of comic books. Their latest release, "Echoes Across Time", chronicles the band's misadventures through alternate universes while being hunted by their evil arch nemesis Summer.
