Cinematic Strings with Motion

This piece was written by Christian Henson. I was inspired to recreate his piece by ear using Logic Pro music software. My goal was just to see if I could make it sound like a real orchestra.

Spring

The story follows a young man who is disillusioned with life and work in the Big City until, one day, fate intervenes and helps him to find his destiny. For the fun of it, I silenced the film and created new music and sound effects.

Redemption

When a bird first learns to fly, they must strongly trust their instincts. The joy and wonder of flying through the air is a most-fitting reward for such bravery.

This was a musical collaboration between Blue Balance and Mojo X. Blue Balance wrote the melody, and Mojo X the orchestration. The music was created first, and then video footage was selected to match the musical story. Blue Balance own the rights to the music, but not the footage.

Requiescence (Ambient Version)

My childhood bedroom was blue. During those years I was fully-creative, uninhibited, and wanted to create tons of music. But as I grew up, I worked completely for others and neglected my deepest dreams. Now I wish to rebalance my life and give the younger, creative child inside of me a chance to grow.
