This is an experiment of mine where I have tried to limit myself to percussive instruments and blips and boops. So, no melodies.
Some things I recorded myself, though mostly this was all done in Reason. Will most likely add more stuff because I think it sounds rather empty here and there, particularly the end. And maybe I'll even add some melodic instruments aswell :)

So, this is the second version. Changed some slight panning and volume things, though mainly I added the strings. Though tbh I really just stole from the guy (Jonny Greenwood, also of Radiohead btw) who did the There Will Be Blood soundtrack (if I remember correctly) and in a way the part with the odd measures is a bit of a Stravinsky ripoff... oh well, I'm just trying it out, so no harm no foul.

A continuation of what I did with the 'musical confessions' piece. Basically I started off with a 'random' melody using 'random' notes, then I applied my own opinion on the matter and added stuff as I liked. I'd like to do a bunch more like this, they're fun and get me to come up with stuff I wouldn't normally do. :)

This time the assignment was to take the theme song from the cartoon show Ovide (and his friends) and make an interesting cover version of it.
Because I was reading about  and listening to some Scott Joplin at the time, I quickly decided to try a ragtime version of it. :)
