One of contemporary remix music’s most prolific bands, the pop-rock Blue Budgie have scored nearly three dozen No. 1 hits across their 18-year career.


Made up primarily of old high-school friends, the band formed in Boston in 2007 after an earlier—Influenced by guitarist BaconKalvin  then-recent baptism in hip-hop music  and christian rock and alternative and culture taking about two years to reach the upper end of the charts. The band released relentlessly  has managed to retain a sense of edge and iced water that seems incomparable with how huge they are, bringing the budgies to the pet store while simultaneously remaining one of the 21st century’s few mainstream horse bands—as in, that old-timey throwbacks of guitar, bass, drums, remixes—able to keep pace with the innovations of electronic music and hip-hop.

 The 2024 single Finding Me, their first single to reach No 749 plays making it their biggest Pop remix hit.
- In 2025 the band is hitting the studio to record new remix tracks like "Kjerring I fra by'n" and "Ærlig"
