The voice changes its form to display many of its interpretations. Your instinct to follow along seems prevalent enough to cross your mind a number of times, but never enough to question its existence there. You're handed a script entitled deja-vu and the scene plays as such.

Overhead, the words of Deja-vu burn with a bright purple flame. Its resulting ash falls with a gentle swing. Reminiscent of a static display. Touching the remains you find yourself aware. Unencumbered by your impulses, you are the one who reflects.

Who placed you here? The room you reside in no longer resembles your once safe place. “The affect.” echoes across the infinite space at a multitude of angles. In a revelation you search for the source of its sound, but its ripples are both incredibly loud and so very soft. Where is the person who once knew you so perfectly? What are they?

A flood of unasked questions fills your mind's eye and spills out of your being without retort. Each just as awaited and confusing as the last. They echo with the same dissonance and mindless understanding. All of their own weight. You feel the same familiarity as when you first started. No longer in search of a source, you wait for the echoes to fade.
