We welcome Loz Angeles based producer, Night Breeze to the Red Label family with the release, Between the Lines. 

Renew is a dark yet hopeful melodic house tune anchored by a relentlessly groovy bass. Uplifting synths in the break serve as a counterpoint to the dark, distorted tones in the first half of the song, allowing the second half of the song to reflect the renewal that comes from the shadows.

Between The Lines is a reflective club track built around a gentle, dancey bass. Soft, soothing synths help fill out the introspective soundscape, while rhythmic vocal chops float in and out and move the song along its ultimately upbeat journey.

Additionally, there are two radio edits of the tracks for a well rounded and focused ep.

Night Breeze - Between the Lines

We welcome back Broken Boy to the Yellow Label with the beautifully crafted Slowdown featuring Cora, and a remix of the track from aardonyx. 

Broken Boy and Cora wrote this song right in the thick of the pandemic and they say - Honestly, it's a reflection of everything we were feeling at the time. Working with Cora on this project was a chance to turn all that confusion and restlessness into something tangible.

The lyrics capture that sense of disconnection that so many of us felt. Lines like "Call my name, call my name, but I won't hear it" and "You're all the same, all the same" really hit on that emotional distance that felt so familiar back then. And of course, the repeated "Don't you bring me down" — that's us fighting back against it, refusing to let it get the better of us.

But it's not all heavy. There's this undercurrent of hope and persistence too. "Hold tight, stick with me, it'll be a wild ride" — that's the kind of energy we were channeling. Life's messy and unpredictable, but there's power in riding it out. The way the music shifts and builds reflects that back-and-forth of doubt and determination.

For us, this song is about those internal struggles that don't always have easy answers. It's a reminder that it's okay to feel stuck sometimes — the important part is finding the strength to keep going. We're really proud of how it all came together, and we hope it speaks to anyone out there feeling that same push and pull.

Broken Boy - Slowdown Feat. Cora

aardonyx are here with their Spires EP marking a return to SLR Yellow following their last release back in 2021.
 
The title track "Spires," pulses with a growling bassline and splashy breaks, cutting through a backdrop of pads influenced by '80s sci-fi films which hold a strong focal point of influence and reference for the sardonyx boys. 
On the B-side, "Survival" starts with a sinister intro that gives way to an overdriven bassline that keeps the listener on edge. 

This EP is the start of a new era for aardonyx, who have a follow up EP looming and a new blend a twist to their sound. Watch this space for future updates from the production duo!
