London’s Kylin Tyce teams up with the Tessellate crew to release four slick, 2-step tracks including a remix from Moodswing label boss Perception. London based Kylin Tyce is a new artist on the circuit with an ear for ambient soundscapes, rolling beats and intricate percussion. His sound takes inspiration from the realms of early UK Garage paired with forward-thinking House & Techno which can be heard on his releases on labels such as Oldivibes, PIV and Render. You can either find Kylin behind the counter at the London record shop Phonica or playing regularly at clubs in and around the capital where he aims to take you on a journey through both old and new realms of electronic music whilst providing a continuous vibe to the dance floor. ‘Do Your Thing’ sees him join the London based event series and record label Tessellate following releases from artists such as T. Jacques, Alex Pervukhin, Firmin and Aleksandir. On the flip, ‘Thinkin’ fuses nostalgic, stripped back, UKG stylings with uplifting keys, jubilant tones and an inviting vocal line.

The legendary Paul Rayner returns with a slice of bumpy and atmospheric subtle sounding Speed Garage. Using his legendary drum breaks, floating pads, a classic stretched out vocal and a pumping sub bass to drive the track!

Paul's original tracks in the 90s were one of the main inspirations for this label to even be set up so it's an absolute honour to be releasing the music that he's making to this day.

Paul Rayner - U Turn My Life Round

Continuing its rich vein of form, Seb Zito’s Seven Dials Records drops another classy release from up and coming DJ / producer, Zac Stanton.

Having been a regular face at The Zoo Project for many years, playing alongside the likes of Monika Kruse, Dana Ruh, Tuccillo, Dense & Pika, Ralf Lawson, Terry Francis and more over the years, Stanton’s sound and sets have taken on a slightly more garage twist to them over the last couple of years. He recently dropped his first earlier this year the highly rated, Instinct (UK) aka Burnski’s, garage imprint Instinct (UK) receiving plaudits from the crowd and DJs like Rossko, Burnski, Fabe and also Seven Dials head honcho, Seb Zito.

For his debut release on Seven Dials, he has delivered a tightly produced exquisite two track ep.
The first track is Out My Head, a smooth and soulful 2 step vocal garage cut, which blends the power of the bass with elegance of the vocal to perfection.

The second track on the EP is 98 Pressure, utilizing sounds reminiscent of those from the golden era of Speed Garage, this picks up the energy levels, with shuffling hi’s, drifting pads in the intro, the break is where you get the feeling of the “98 Pressure” hit you before a rude bwoy bassline drops, this is definitely a dance floor killer.
