Indie pop-rock quintet, Blue Ember, is not your ordinary group of guys looking to simply fit in, but rather make their mark as actual musicians heavily inspired by a drive to craft amazing songs without all the glitter and gloss. Over the past year, this has been their mission and with their latest effort, To Sandra With Love, it is clear that the mission has been accomplished.
 
   Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Blue Ember recently released a dynamic six-song EP, To Sandra with Love, which helped them create a solid following and quickly growing fan base in and around Portland. Now, they are ready to show the world what they’re made of.
 
   This is not your ordinary group of guys looking to simply fit in, but rather make their mark as actual musicians heavily inspired by a drive to craft amazing songs without all the glitter and gloss. Their sound is a fusion of rock, pop, dub step, and easy listening peppered with electro elements to give the songs a punch of pop in a way that doesn’t distract, but further compliments the live instrumentation. Over the past year, this has been their mission and with their latest effort it is clear that the mission has been accomplished.
 
   The band has also been keeping busy in good company. Blue Ember has shared the main stage with Andy Grammar, Scars on 45 and American Idol’s Haley Reinhart at the Portland Rose Festival, voted the best festival in the world by the International Festivals and Events Association. Blue Ember has also opened for Eve 6 and performed at the Bing Lounge, which has welcomed The Fray, Foster the People, Adam Lambert, The Doobie Brothers, Fun, Christina Perri and The Black Keys.

   This will be an exciting live show that you don’t want to miss!
