A set of 10 modular pieces that can be played as a whole or parts, written specifically for Hypercube, a New York-based new music quartet of saxophones, electric guitar, piano, and percussion.
The piece aims for a sense of spontaneity and energy of creating at the moment found in improvised music without requiring the performers to improvise. It features idiosyncratic material that will develop generatively or with variations rather than with improvisation.

System 5
A soft high sound emerges from a womb-like atmosphere.
It eventually becomes a melody that carries a simple plea:
Listen to nature, and to people who bear knowledge from it.
