It's Friday so we have something for you to get into that weekend mood. Stoked to premiere another track by one of our absolute favourite artists out there, Varum! Dive into NHK and you're mood will be popping' in no time. As part of Palms Out's latest V.A 'End Broken Window Vol. 1' this compilation features some killer artists and great tunes, all going toward a good cause.

It's the first in a series of semi/annual charitable compilations to raise awareness around the menace of broken windows policing practices and their poisonous impact on vulnerable populations. 100% of proceeds of this the volume will benefit the SBB National Sex Worker Bail Fund, as sex workers are often intersectionally and particularly affected by these practices. In response to the horrifying invasion taking place in Ukraine, we have decided to release the debut EP of the new duo by Sugar & Peachlyfe “Ultra Harmonizer - A Different Kind Of Beast”.
It will be released on our Fast Forward Fundraiser label to create immediate funds for the Ukrainian people.

This EP was initially set to be released around early summer, but as we are sitting here, hundreds of kilometers away, watching with agony and shock about what is happening, we need to act in the best way possible.
As artists with limited political influence and minimal resources to make a big difference, in a full-scale invasion like what we see in Ukraine, the least thing we can do is to utilize our abilities and music to contribute here and now.

Now more than ever, it is time for solidarity with the Ukrainian people and not leave them to their fate, while Russia is violently breaking international laws and creating a state of war in the region.
We all have to put pressure on our local governments, create public awareness, provide donations, and shelter the refugees fleeing the country.

This also applies to the existing three compilations already available and the future one coming out in August.

Now it's finally time to uncover the first release of Artaphine Records. Here, two worlds collide creating various shapes in between. On one hand, we have Tom Place, who is more known for his breakbeat excursions on Childsplay and Fly By Night, while Clotur takes more of a dive into the deep and groovy style of techno that resulted in releases on Counterchange and his own label Warok.

Kicking off the EP with the solo track from Tom Place, setting off with the same pace as 'Tearing Down Your Walls', released on Artaphine’s VA last year. After that, 'Melting Shapes' hits the perfect example of finding balance between artists with different production styles. 

With 'Object Model', the artists take the offbeat excursion while Clotur closes the EP with a 9-minute journey to the various corners of his production skills.
