Scottish musician. Classically trained singer and violinist but has a diverse range as a singer and instrumentalist. In the 80s she toured as a member of a Scottish Blues Band supporting the likes of Dr Feelgood and Jack Bruce as well as leading her own band, Blo Na Gael, playing and singing traditional Scottish and Irish music, often with a twist. Blues, Jazz, Folk, Soul, Country is represented in her latest CD "Shirley Wishart and Friends - 2.19 Blues." Aka from Bessie to Bonnie! Available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and direct from Birnam CD.
