Blues for a Buddha is a fluctuating group of artists, writers and musicians who abide by Buddha Shakyamuni's 84,000 teachings, or some reasonable Portion thereof. Martin Booe is the principal songwriter and performing member. BfaB's first release features two punk rock luminaries, Paul Roessler and drummer Jeff Mince warping their style to Early 20th Century American song forms and beyond. It was in the course of these sessions that Mince decided to ordain as a Buddhist monk.
