Israel-based local heroes Adam Ten and Mita Gami are coming to Blindfold Recordings with the single "Always Fresh" featuring a remix by Danish duo Baime. These two legends have already made a name for themselves with music fusing between Indie Dance and Melodic House & Techno. Their infectious sound has garnered them wide recognition and support including previous releases on Diynamic and Multinotes to name a few.

Blue Shadow welcomes rising star producer Omri Smadar to the family, with his 5 track stunning debut EP "En Safek".

Smadar dives deep into his own upbringing, delivering a unique psychedelic dancefloor interpretations to his childhood heroes, Tel Aviv's Indie Rock staples Fortis & Tractor's Revenge.

"En Safek She" (There's No Doubt That) alludes to the apocalyptic "Sunrise Falling" by local legend Fortis. Back in 1988, the Israeli punk pioneer wrote about the Hiroshima bombing, describing a happy world disrupted by a mushroom-shaped cloud. Omri's production stays crucial with the original sense of urgency, repeating the Hebrew chorus lyrics which act as a deadly double entendre.

"Dmaot" (Tears) is based on "Game Of Tears", by Tractor's Revenge. Omri's take pays tribute to the haunting signature song of the band from 1990, keeping the lyrics paced with his own psychedelic dark disco vision. Like the Fortis classic, Omri remarkably succeeding to maintain the surreal vibe of the original song, while elegantly adapting it to dancefloor territory.

Each En safek & Dmaot won a bonafide banger treatment with two stripped down dub versions, shaping them to suit any club voyage, while the latter also received a trippy atmosphere worthy remix by the talented Mexican born and Calypso label-boss Inigo Vontier.

DJ, producer and Madorasindahouse team member Atsou steps up for his first release on connected with the ‘Sleepwalk Town’ EP, backed with remixes from Jenia Tarsol and  Armonica.
Atsou has been there since the early days of preaching the Afro house gospel in Greece. Since then, he has played in well-respected venues around Europe (Watergate in Berlin, Djoon in Paris
and Raspoutine in Rome to name a few), developing his sound with different takes on the modern house sound.

A unique take on house music, combining funky basslines and driving synths, the original ‘Sleepwalk Town’ is a foot stomper, paying tribute to Afro-American culture that shaped the music of today. It has heart and soul to spare and will infuse any set with real character.

First to remix is Tel Aviv artist and Blue Shadow Records co-founder Jenia Tarsol who deconstructs the arrangement, keeping the absolute basics in place and delivering a deeply hypnotic version. Finally, wrapping up the fine package, the Armonica duo use their trademark Afro elements to turn their remix into a melodic funky banger. 

This is another cultured house offering from the vital connected label.
