The delectable & lingering melodies comprised of various chord arrangements send a jolt of pleasantries & warmth all around. It's soft with the delicate pads surrounding the light percussives, giving an utmost tender feel, something you can just zone off to, a story within your own mind. The tasteful piano lines that construct a heart warming melody really reels you in, with its divine & elegant sounds drifting beautifully along the way. What a riveting track to revel in, to act as a soundtrack to your own story & this one can only boast contentment & good vibes.  

'It Was All A Dream' will make you wonder if the angelic sounds that are travelling to your brain as of pressing play is a dream but rest assured; this magnificent piece of work is a reality & if reality was as blissfully beautiful as this, we'd all be floating on cloud 9. One can only use the phrase engulfed with happiness to describe it as the track starts, the hypnotic & vibrant percussions leading the way for those alluring melodies. It’s like a cacophony of the most magical sounds have come to life, each note, each chord, each key, each shake being accentuated by the level of wonder & dream like state, one where music of this nature is the only lifeline. The blending of the layers is nothing but crisp & clean, allowing you to distinctly point out what is felt during each second that it is being played & if refined needed an auditory description, this production would definitely be it.

Globally acclaimed trance & progressive veteran Robert Nickson has been a leader in our scene for well over a decade. It has been our great honor to work with Robert in recent years, as he continues to contribute deeper progressive sounds to our imprint, under his RNX guise.

His latest EP includes a wonderful collaboration with Paul Mads, "Whatever," which first appeared (in mixed form only) on Shingo Nakamura's "Only Silk 03" compilation. A chilled progressive house groove and after-hours soundscape, highlighted by a jazzy keyboard motif, establishes a soothing and sensual mood. In the main break, we're met with an infectious vocal sample, which helps carry the more uptempo latter half of the track.

The B-side, "Joshua Tree," sinks into even deeper territory, especially in the opening build of the arrangement. We're met with ominous pads and a recurring, hypnotic lead synth line, setting the stage for a sonic revelation in the main break. Joshua Tree's rugged beauty is well documented by casual travelers and spiritual seekers alike; Robert depicts the "awakening" one can experience while hiking there in the form of a breathtaking symphony of synth layers in the song's climax.

Silk Royal is excited to welcome back 19 Hz, the Argentinian super duo of Dario Tello (a.k.a. Airdraw) and Rodrigo Deem, with the brand new single "Another Skin". 19 Hz's last release on Silk Royal, the Beatport hit "Round & Round," was voted "Web Vote Winner" on Above & Beyond's "Trance Around The World" and receive a litany of additional support, so we are especially excited to announce their return to our imprint. This single also comes equipped with brilliant new remixes by Dan & Sam and Blood Groove & Kikis.

19 Hz proved that they are quite capable of composing peak-hour dancefloor material with "Round & Round", but their offering here, "Another Skin", is a journey back to their more pensive and emotive progressive roots. The song kicks off with a house-y beat (highlighted by a snappy snare), brooding and layered pad, and melancholy arp line, all of which coalesce to create a deeply poignant atmosphere. A top line to the arp beings to develop: crystalline bell sounds, which soar above the track like an especially vivacious flock of birds. Meanwhile, the full-bodied pad begins to crescendo with "tidal" force, as the song approaches its midpoint. In the main break, we are treated to a series of achingly beautiful female vocal samples and wintry bell sounds, all of which lend additional emotional resonance to the tune.

Dan & Sam, fresh off their breakthrough hit "Breaking The Illusion" (#2 on the Beatport Trance Release chart for over a week), offer the first of two breathtaking interpretations. Hailing from the USA (Dan Sieg) and Australia (Sam Wilkinson), this exciting new duo offers a more upbeat take on the original, as their version jets out of the gate with a clubby kick and gut-busting rhythm. Yet, the emotive spirit of the original is not abandoned: a teaser mini-break early in the track reveals a moving new lead chord progression and arp line, as well as the very welcome inclusion of the original vox samples. The tune continues to pick up steam, leading into the main break, where a gorgeous new piano solo appears. The dancefloor-friendly groove sits below all of these elements in the latter half of the tune, to truly stunning effect.

Blood Groove & Kikis, who also appeared recently on Silk Royal as a winner of our "Wild At Heart" remix contest, are back with another atmospheric progressive masterpiece. Their track takes a slightly different approach, in that the song is infused with a more "romantic" and soothing spirit, in contrast to the melancholy and almost heart-breaking tones of the prior two mixes. A powerful groove is established early, as well as repeating chord, which eventually develops into a full, 4-bar motif. Also, the vocal samples bring additional melodic texture, as do the Sundriver-esque pads. Glorious new melodic variations appear in the break, including delicate guitar plucks and piano lines. With the arrival of the drop, the listener is submerged in full atmospheric prog splendor, courtesy of one of the finest new acts in the genre.

Another Skin

19 Hz - Another Skin (Blood Groove & Kikis Remix) [Silk Royal]

The iconic "Year Zero" from Andy Moor & Orkidea gets a chilled treatment from Alex Wright.  A British producer who's been making waves with big releases and support all around and it's no wonder with a keen musical ear and production wizardry.  Stripping the original down and injecting broken beats in, Alex's chillout remix is a fantastic tone setter to a stress free evening.

Maengo is the 2nd release on the Premier League Recordinsg label. Taking the classic trancesound from 1998 and transporting it into 2019. The track is released by Marco Svarda under his Maerin-alias, which he uses for the most classic influenced of tracks. Maerin-releases are quite unique, and aren't released more than once a year.

UK-based producer Alex Wright gives the track a modern update, with a beautiful melodic trance piece, emotional piano chords and still energetic. A hybrid track between progressive trance and uplifting, this is how that would sound!

Always a producer to keep an eye on, Georgian heavyweight Nuera probes direct into monster-mode with a debut original 'Revise' for our new sub imprint Soho Opus, having mixed out countless progressive trance beauties over the years, Nuera's productions have always been of a high-quality, that have perpetually had an underlying ebbing flow and sense that shards of the channels could at any minute spiral off into a mist of endless gloomy vibes, and on Soho, he completely revels a new side of his sound. It's peak time ambient/techno / trance infused track and it's proof that you cannot predit what's coming from this veteran name! 

Not satisfied with already a treasure, we decided to bring in label favorite UK producer Alex Wright to deliver an exceptional supplement to this package as his Funky 'N' Slow remix is really taking the lead melody to vaster heights in this track, making it a faultless euphoric belter.
