SYNEMA | ADN Music presents | 15/04/2021

Tochaman show recorded in Tarmac Festival in Leipzig , Germany. Playing after my pirate partner Entheon and Sangoma artist Eritas in an abandoned airport  outside Leipzig for a night to remember. Rocked my new unreleased Tochaman EP that will be releases soon in own label Ohmnium Records amongs someother own producions stuff together with Quadrivium , Digital Shiva Power , Parvati and Sonic Loom Records  . This is a cool event happening for the 2rd year with cool disco , techno, house and live bands.  Underground feeling and great atmosphere all the way. Very happy to have been part of it.

My show was mental and full packed dancefloor. In those 2 hours , I went through several textures and degrees of darkness to deliver a journey with Dark Forest. Ranged between 150-156BPM.

This is the set I played at Amygdala 2 (Anneke's birthday) in between Colin OOOD and Alpine. I mixed the tracks back at home in the same way I played them there. From late '90s Goa Trance towards Schlabbaduerst style Forest and into modern Forest Trance. I tried to keep it going upward and climactic all the time and included some of the most bombastic brain massaging acidic tracks I know in it.

The Green Nuns Of The Revolution - Dance Temple 08 - Boom Festival 2014

Goa is over 20 years old in the mean time. Time to have a retrodelic look! For this I dug in my huge cd & vinyl collection and decided to make a mix for every year for the period 1994-2014 to show the "new" generation of goa people how goa-trance evolved, and never really died ;)

This third mix is about 1996, mixed with 2 CDJ1000s and Pioneer djm300 (no lap top mixing involved!). It was a big treat, as many of the tracks are SUPER hard to mix. But I chose the tracks for their musical value, not for their mixing abilities. I hope I managed decently anyway :)This is the first of 2 mixes from 1996. This is the morning/sunrise mix, later on I will also make a "night" - more acidic old school goa trance mix! :) So, have a look, a listen and make sure to buy the music if you like it!

Anoebis - The History Of Goatrance - 1996 (Morning Side)

First track I made in Cubase. Has some errors in it because Cubase does some weird stuff sometimes :/ Still have to adjust it somehow with higher latency or something, don't know. But, sometimes the kick or the bass is missing. A few times it's meant to be like that, but for the most part it is not :p Also, eq'ing, mixdown, all still quite sloppy, this is just an early phase of the track.
Also: if anybody has any tips on how to improve my cubase, please share them to me :p
