The latest project created by the band from northern Germany adds more authentic flavor to their down home style. After soul singer Bonita's brief appearance on the BB's 2012 'Come Along' album and an overwhelmingly acclaimed joint appearance at the band's own blues festival in Hildesheim, we now have the first CD production featuring BONITA & THE BLUES SHACKS.

Nun haben die BBs mit Rhythm Bomb Records ein neues
Zuhause gefunden und kehren mit dem neuen Album
zurück zu ihren Wurzeln. Wurde in vergangenen Tagen
hier und da auch die Liebe zum Soul nicht geleugnet,
besinnt sich das Quintett mit dieser Veröffentlichung
wieder auf das, was sie seit Bandgründung wie kaum eine
andere Formation beherrscht: allerfeinsten Vintage Blues;
50er Jahre Chicago Blues, gepaart mit Swing, Jump und
treibenden Shuffles. 14 Eigenkompositionen sind auf
„Reservation Blues“ zu hören, ergänzt durch eine
großartige Hornsection auf vier Titeln.

They have received numerous honors and awards including „Best European Blues Band“. The latest album was awarded with the German Record Critic’s Award They are touring from Barcelona to Moscow and thrilled a crowd of 10 000 with their performance in L.A.
