Poor Man's Rich

'Stop' started out for me & Mike Hutchinson as a Dylan/country song telling a boy to stop being an arse before he "broke her heart". I bashed & bolted it into a first person ('my heart') Elvis 'don't be cruel' style. But I thought it would work better as northern soul, like Dobey Gray's 'Out On The Floor'. So I tried... but it's turned back into a country toe-tapper - 'northern country soul' I hope, what do you think?

It's opening night at the art gallery. 
A chap is wandering round. Chats, drinks, posh nibbles. 
He comes to a portrait of a woman in green staring at the viewer, stops. Something in her eyes holds him.
His gaze moves to another picture... of the sea. 
A woman is standing in front of it with her back to him.
As she turns round he nearly chokes on his smoked salmon & crushed olive blini...
"Come here often?"
