Hendrik Hohlfeld creates musical obscurities aiming to challenge conventional archetypes; to expand the spectrum of imaginab possibility for those present, transcending the unwritten, traditional confines that burden conceptual freedom and originality. Hohlfeld is 30 years old, born in Berlin, spent his adolescence growing up in the US, and has been living in the Hague since 2015 studying for his Bachelors of Music from the Institute of Sonology which he completed in 2020. Amedium loves to expand the horizons of perceived possibility whilst still embracing fundamental elements of the contemporary cookie-cutter music world. 'While the music has taken many forms, over the years, much as my life, reflecting and processing a lifetime of influences and styles, not to mention a personal transformation of  the ability to listen and hearing certain subtleties. This fundamental belief in sound and its limitless influence has remained at the core of his auditory explorations. Instead of music as a hermitage to shelter from reality, to isolate from the hustle and bustle. One of my favorite ways to describe me that someone shared with me would be, 'understated radicalism''.
