Another benchmark for Hip Hop as Soundweight Records hook up with The Summit for another irrefutable classic release in 2016.
After a number of collaborative releases with various underground artists such as Cappo, Lewis Parker & Melanin 9,an instrumental album naturally followed.
With soundscapes profoundly rooted in arguably Hip Hop’s most respected era (90’s),  Nocturnes takes the listener on a soulful voyage to another time and place with its smooth boombap production, seasoned with grain and vinyl static.
Nocturnes brings you a live instrumental edge to the 90’s grassroots sound, allowing the listener to sit back and reflect. Eerie jazzy loops along with soft hi hats sit nicely over technical drum patterns reminiscent of Godfather Don & Lord Finesse. 
Each track depicts a landscape of the mood; so eloquently composed to be viewed by the listener.  
With striking visual art by Mr. Krum, this release would have no problem fitting neatly in a true hip hop heads vinyl collection, as well as falling in the category of recommended listening for all hip hop connoisseurs, young and old.
