Now live on our Soundcloud and Youtube pages, the DJ and producer from Saxony/East Germany, currently residing in Berlin, the one and only - Siggatunez! 

Known as the founder and owner of the Deep House and Deep Disco vinyl label Tieffrequent, musically he is deeply rooted in the US-Golden Age Hip-Hop Aera of the 90's but also the "Motown“ and the East-German Funk and Soul music genres.

Mainly influenced by his younger brother, he started producing beats and cuts out of dusty vinyl-records around 2000 and by 2005 he had already moved to Frankfurt where he got in contact with the electronic music local scene. 

With his friend Le Rubrique he started the regular House and Techno Event "Sucio'' at the now legendary Café KOZ to promote upcoming and established artists, which is where he started Djing in 2008 and evolved a passion for vinyl records and the whole record shop-digger cosmos.

In 2012 he moved to Berlin where he started his own label. In 2018 he founded the Gwen Torino mixing studio where he offers audio services for electronic music productions. Due to his love for funk and soul music he created the GOOEY Editz series in 2020 to bring back some forgotten diamonds back to light.

His stage name summarizes his way of working on new tracks and mixes, which often arise from nightly music sessions. Midnight Sessions is also the playlist editor for the Berlin radio station FluxFM, where he expresses his love for other genres like indie, pop and electronics.

Während ihres Studiums in Jena begann sie, ihrem Interesse am Auflegen nachzugehen und spielte einige kleine Gigs, bevor sie vor einem Jahr nach Leipzig zog. Seitdem hat sich ihr Musikgeschmack mehr in Richtung der Wurzeln des Techno entwickelt. In Zukunft wird sie mehr Zeit damit verbringen, sich auf ihre Musik zu konzentrieren, insbesondere auf ihre Reise als Produzentin.

Blur Records returns to present the debut of German DJ and producer - Max Caesar and his three- track EP entitled "Habitual House".
Starting his musical career in Erfurt, he now resides in Leipzig and is a core member of Future Fabrik, a forward-looking mixed-media project set to make waves with their digital artist services.
Always applying himself fully to the pursuit of classic house sounds, be it 909 drums, slightly detuned string samples or dusty old pianos, the search for a classic but still modern approach to house is the focus of his journey, having released his first tracks with Basement Discos followed by this release at Blur Records.
The first track entitled "Habitual House", is a refined and soulful organic house composition, with rolling pacey drums, grooving bassline and intricate piano techniques showcasing the serious approach by the versatile producer.
Next is "Don't You Worry", a classic 90's based irresistible track, featuring a jacked-up vocal, intricate soundscapes, and rich textures, which build up with slithering strings in the background, delivering it all in a powerful drop.
Closing up the EP is "Right Now", a funky fuelled cut with lively percussive drums, housy vocal bits and rattling rims in the background. It is an ever-evolving and shuffling beat that closes out with a beautifully executed acid 303 synth, revealing a rich and resonant three-track EP.
