Live now at the Blur Podcasts, Italian old-school master DJ and Producer, the one and only - Mo'Cream!

Filippo Alessandro Serra, or Sandro, started producing house music in the early 90's under the alias "Workin' Happily". 

With remixes by Chicago House icons such as Cajmere, he also had several collaborations with house music luminaries such as Murk and Kerri Chandler.

After a long hiatus from the music business, in 2020 Sandro returned to the scene as Mo'Cream, mostly focusing his production efforts on deep house.

Since then he has quickly established himself as one of the best producers of the genre, with tunes like 'Drop It' (released on No Fuss), 'So Deep' (iRecords), 'On You' (Large) and many others. 

In 2021 Creamo Music was created to provide an outlet for Mo'Cream own releases, but also to offer a platform for new artists and collaborators. 'Feel This Way' and 'Do That Thang' are two of the label's best received releases.

Phonk D is always up for musical collaborations and over time some have accumulated on the hard drive. It’s a logical conclusion to make a collection out of it and here we present the first part.

On “Connie” Phonk D joins forces with Lukas Lehmann who is a familiar face on Footjob already.
A percussive sample stomper with subtle vocal chops for groovy dance nights, perfect to switch from warmup to peaktime.

“Tribute To Miami” is a collaboration with Frankfurt's Le Rubrique, who has also made an appearance on Footjob with his Flying Circus collabo EP already. Old synths were dusted to create a typical 90s oldschool house vibe. During their session they noticed that it sounds strongly like Murk so they added atmospheric vocals to pay even more tribute to the classic Miami label.

The third track “On The Edge” presents a driving house bumper which features Darmstadt's finest bass player Grégoire Pignède from the highly talented jazz formation Triorität. Deep organ chords and atmospheric synths meet a floating bassline – what else do you need?

Blur Records returns to present the new EP of German producer Okofunk who teamed up with vocalist Morris Revy to present his new EP entitled "Don't Matter" featuring two stellar remixes by the producers T.Markakis and Manuel Kane.

The EP opens with the original title track "Don't Matter", a beautiful blend of Okofunk's signature groovy beats and Morri Revy's soulful vocals. The track features a deep and rhythmic bassline, accompanied by a dreamy saxophone and intricate percussive elements, creating an immersive and uplifting atmosphere.

T.Markakis takes on the first remix of "Don't Matter" and transforms the track into a dancefloor banger. With his trademark sound, T.Markakis infuses the remix with pumping beats, a driving bassline, and funky synths, making it into a perfect deep house anthem.

Second Hour - Dafunkas:

Carlos, also known as Dafunkas, is a 39-year-old DJ who grew up in Mar del Plata,
Argentina. He later moved to Buenos Aires, where he lived for almost 15 years before
relocating to Barcelona. In Barcelona, he became a member of the Rhythm Control Gang
and was later appointed as a resident DJ at Tunnel in 2022.
Dafunkas draws inspiration from a variety of music genres, including 80s music, synth pop,
the 88 movement, new beat, Chicago house, and Detroit techno. With this eclectic mix of
influences, Dafunkas has established himself as a versatile and dynamic DJ with a unique
sound that blends classic and contemporary elements.
