Blur Records proudly presents the brand new EP of Angolan DJ, producer and label boss Fred Aster, titled "Jazz Space Pool," featuring US-based lyricist L Speaks, and two engaging remixes by producers Scruscru and Doktor Yok!.

The title track, "Jazz Space Pool," immerses you in a cosmic journey, where elements of jazz and deep house intertwine in perfect harmony, featuring chord-based pianos and pulsating rhythms, with L Speaks taking centre-stage by lending his lyrical prowess to the vocal mix.

The first remix by Scruscru, who is known for his innovative approach to music, delivers a remix that infuses "Jazz Space Pool" with his signature touch, combining his meticulous attention to detail with housey grooves and old-school rave stabs, taking the track to soaring heights and igniting the dancefloor with its irresistible energy.

Doktor Yok! takes the remix duties to deliver a mind-bending reimagining of "Jazz Space Pool", with detailed sound design and expert drum composition, reshaping the original by creating a mesmerizing fusion of lofi hip-hop and otherworldly elements.

The very first vinyl release from Blur Records features eclectic, talented Russian DJ and producer Scruscru, dropping a quartet of funky disco tracks on his brand new EP entitled 'Boss Of The Coast'. The title track kicks proceedings off, a fluttering flute holding sway over a nicely retro disco/house hybrid groove, before 'Frog Business' drops the mood to a more relaxed, chilled tempo, with smooth pianos, vocal snippets and languid jazzy brass embellishing the beat. 'Juicy Brass' is the EP's proper brassfest, as well as being blessed with a bouncing bassline and percussive frills, before 'Lucky Piper' sees us off with its irresistible bassline, smooth guitar riffs and more of those jazz-inspired flutes. One for fans of the early Talking Loud or Acid Jazz releases, perhaps, although it's hard to imagine anyone with a penchant for cutting a rug being able to turn this one down.

Ise Jr. and Phonk D share a long musical history. In the early 2000s they produced as a team, founded the Kollege Schnürschuh Collective and were responsible for numerous productions in the German HipHop scene.
Phonk D's past was more 4/4 beat based and Ise Jr. always had a great passion for electronic music. Over time their sound slightly changed, the label Footjob was founded and a great number of sketches were made in that musical direction.
Luckily, Phonk D rarely throws anything off his hard drives, which allowed him to fine-tune some of the old jewels like these four tracks. They’ve matured for about 10 years and now finally come to see the strobelight of the club.
