If one had to describe Kaltblume's music with three words, they would be without hesitation: sharp, bleak and voluptuous.
Deeply rooted in bouncy and intricate rhythmic structures, his productions also tend to explore atypical, richer harmonics and textures.
Behind the booth, his infectious energy reflects the warm, symbiotic atmosphere he continually seeks to create. Thumping tribal drums and groovy sequences meet uncanny, sometimes chaotic musical phrases.
Backed by a host of headliners, Kaltblume is an artist to watch, gradually imposing his style on the underground techno scene.
For this podcast, he’s delivered a powerful set featuring several of his unreleased tracks, offering a glimpse into his evolving sonic universe and what lies ahead.

This session is a clear reflection of where he is right now as an artist - committed to the craft, rooted in the underground and always evolving.

Metapattern is also an Ableton certified professor, author of two books, "Secrets Of Techno," and a professional educator for nearly two decades.

We're also thrilled to share  that Metapattern has just released their second album, "Lost Tapes," on the MORD label.

This episode continues VARIA's mission: championing considered electronic expression and lasting artistry.
