Blurix - The Apprentice (X-POSE Remix) [Sounds Diabolic SD028] preview

Breathe in... Breathe out... – The most simple way to stay alive if only for a moment, or in the other hand for an eternity. Blurix – the shape, the form, the matter, the sound, the body, the soul, ‘the’ artist. Taking the ‘brush’ and dipping it to his sound-palette he started with music creativity at the age of 12 in his hometown, the capital of Croatia – Zagreb. Following other peoples footsteps wasn’t exactly what he considered to be a process of ‘making something new’, there for he refused to follow only the basic principles his father taught him (being an audiophile and an old school type DJ), but took over what he could learn of the technical basis and went on, searching for ‘The’ sound.

Blurix’ music performing and producing skills are wide and so is his unconventional use of conventional sounds & hardware and software machines, which leads to having a wide library of sound pieces (tracks and releases) going from straight / pure techno to electro, experimental electronica, IDM, ambiental, tec-house, minimal, …

In 2006. he opens up his own net-label with his parner DraCo called “Diggarama” which promotes high quality electronic music from famous & uprising producers from all over the globe. In 2007. they push their limits harder and open up a ‘bookings agency’ under Diggarama net-label and as such organize events on which they bring guest-stars of the world and as well give the chance to young but tested DJs and producers to present them selves.

In 2007. his single “Tromenia EP” (released on his Diggarama net-label) reaches the 1st place in ‘most downloaded items of the week’ section under Creative Commons license (among all net-labels of the world), and stays on 1st place for about 2 months. – “Tromenia EP” today is the 3rd most downloaded musical EP / album of all times in the world, released under Creative Commons license with over 229 000 downloads.

Today. - Blurix reaches out of the boundaries of common-producing laws in electronic music and out of his main domain - techno, and he's looking for the new soil to plant his seed to. New releases are more point-to-point connected music in EDM domain, such as: chill out, easy listening and ambient music, and on the other end more aggressive and faster techno, industrial and hc.
