For mix 01 Fabby (Daniel Fabris) has stepped up and provided us with two hours of the most beautiful deep house music. 

Having been involved in music for a minute running venues ,throwing parties as 1/3 of Lifeworld and DJ’ing Fabby was always going to come through with something special and reflective of that journey.

Fabby’s obsession and love for deep music has been unwavering from day dot. This two hours mix is a perfect showcase of that dedication, passion and love deep house music especially with a tip of the hat to the 90’s and early 2000’s.

For mix 02 Peteza (Pete Large) has come through with a delightfully subtle mix combining styles of ambient, house, breaks and everything in between

In a chance re-meeting at a DJ Masda party last year Pete and I reconnected. The last time we had seen each other was maybe around 13/14 + years ago when we were both listening to very difference music (Australian Hip hop) and hanging out in the suburbs.

For Mix 03 Jacob Ohrberg steps up as both the first international guest (Living in Tokyo) and the first non-dance mix. I first discovered Jacob’s music through the ever-inspiring Vessels records (Check them out) following Jacobs First release on the Label, Deeper Amateurism and more Recently Vinyl Vanity on Vessels as well,

It's Hard for me to put into words the beauty of Jacobs music which he has released plenty of so here's some words from him.

"While my music derives from many strong ties to house in the structural, I often feel ambient to be something just as foundational.

As a child first intimately acquainted with music through video game soundtracks, I quickly grew used to enjoying ambient as a mode of listening that satisfies a need to associate and reflect, or connect with contexts and spaces. To me, it’s something often more stage-like than performative.

And so this mix is an acknowledgement of ambient’s place in my work - the stage to stand on, as I reflect on a few of the themes and experiences most relevant to my life…distance, digital expression, and deliberate escapism…"

For Mix 04 James Steer steps up with a special blend of tracks from the Golden era

James has been doing his thing for nearly 20 years and this mix is a great showing of nearly two decades of digging.  The Mix, Nearly 2 hours of dubby, minimal, wonky and techy sounds.

James has a deep catalogue of sounds on his page including recordings from out and about around town and a number of mixes from his mix series audible fotosynthesis hosting other Aritsts and DJ's. Be sure to catch his sounds via the cloud or at Rumbler Bar where he frequents behind the booth (Very nice bar, very good sounds, very fun time)

For Mix 05 Neil E (Jack Nelsons) steps up for an hour and a half of masterfully selected and blended house music only as Jack knows how.

Over the past 10+ years Jack has been been busy on the dance floor and behind the curtains, in the studio both home and abroad and of course in the booth.

Throwing parties as Lifeworld with friends Billus and Fabby and more recently Reason St not just in the club but taking things to the warehouses and even the beach

On the production side of things Neil has been consistently putting out a host of music through his own stream but also featuring on label releases for We R The Aliens (WRTA003) and more recently on local label spincycle (SCR002), check them out, they are fresh

On a personal note I was lucky enough to play with jack at the start of the year and that just re affirmed what I already new, he’s a killer selector.

For Mix 07 Leroy Moeller (https://soundcloud.com/leroymoeller) steps up with 60 minutes of beautiful dubby stripped back techno with a focus on steady grooves and subtle shifts throughout the hour. 

Leroy has quietly been making waves with both his output as a selector and through running parties as 1/2 of Dilates Hosting formidable faces such as Neel, Marco Shuttle, Vand and human space machine just to name a few.

Having recently located to Amsterdam Leroy is defiantly someone to keep an eye and an ear out for.
