The second SPLIT record of the Pi Electronics sub-catalogue kicks off 2022's release schedule, combining music by Ontal, the duo hailing from Serbia and Athens based producer, DΛS.

After 4 years, Ontal return to the label, with ‘Almagest’ Parts I & II on the A side, giving two different interpretations of their trademark industrial textured techno. One with a focus on the bassline and one kick drum oriented version.

The B side of SPLIT#2 hosts Athens techno producer and label resident DΛS, presenting his music for the very first time on vinyl. Driving, broken beat techno with an industrial edge.

The Swarm of Flies is an obscure journey deep into the spires of the hidden geometries and occult meanings of this existence. While trying to give sound to what is unkown, Nigh/T\mare created this little jewel of an EP, which results in 3 tracks, merciless to the ears and the mind of the listener.

Malevolent obscurity followed by sentimental melancholy allow a deep journey into introspection. Steadily emerging into a tremendous sound panorama of cryptic techno all wistfulness breaks apart for after all embracing the evil.
Compared to this deeply psychic exploration of darkness with a cinematic progression, Nigh/T\mare is known for his heavy techno mixes incorporating both emotional atmospheres and punching violence. These are also reflected in his productions which have been released on Thrènes, Several Minor Promises, Voidance, Forbidden Teachings, Depth Request, Dissonanze and many more...

Berlin based producer Blush Response returns to Megastructure_ for his first fulll length release since 2021‘s Reconstitution, NEUROSCAPE 9 tracks of absolutely screaming and energetic Post-Industrial techno / IDM for those looking for sounds on the fringes of reality. Driving, pulsating, organic alien grooves populate the dense landscape of sound and showcase the next evolution in Blush‘s sonic signature.

Neuroscape features collaborations from Bon Harris of Nitzer Ebb (a rare vocal appearance!) on Chained, and Richard Devine on Foldspace Transition - a track that was started in Devine‘s studio in Atlanta and then completed in Berlin. Blush Response is the vehicle for Cuban/American musician Joey Blush's research into the sonic dimension. Born in Miami, and now stationed in Berlin, Blush has brought his sound experiments to a worldwide audience. He has toured around the world as a solo artist, and as a member of groups such as Scar the Martyr and Front Line Assembly. He is also a sound designer, having done work for companies like Elektron, Yamaha, Arturia, and programming on records from Fear Factory, Cristian Castro, and more. Blush expresses his sound through deep meditation with his electronic instruments, focusing on the interaction between human and machine. This sonic ritualism is exemplified in his prolific reporting of fractalized audio sculpture.
