The first single of that series, “bleach,” released March 2020, caught fire a few months after its release, completely changing his trajectory. 3 years and 70 million total streams later, Svm is now a full-time rapper constantly sharpening his reserved, cerebral style that’s been described as aesthetic rap, lowercase rap, Michelin star rap, and after early reviews of his forthcoming project, yacht rap. In pursuit of lyrical immortality, Svm spends a not insignificant portion of his earnings on high-end foods so that he can rap about them with increasingly immersive detail.
