Blvck Trev is a rap artist and songwriter from Ohio, with a deep melodic sound rooted in hip hop tradition. After spending years studying the craft of music, he began releasing mixtapes and EP’s in 2012. Since that time, Trev has been steadily building his audience and making a name for himself in the rap scene.
Blvck Trev’s style of rapping is deeply personal, with many songs inspired by real life issues he has faced. Although his sound can be compared to artists such as Money Man, 21 Savage, and Young Thug, everything about Blvck Trev is unique. From his thoughtful, expressive raps, to his eye catching sense of fashion, he is a true original.
Seeing music as a way of dealing with life’s trials, Blvck Trev uses his own hardships to inform his songwriting. “I’m here to be the bridge you use to get over your problems”, the young artist explains. “It’s music or nothing”.
