No introduction needed for this soul train classic by Kool and The Gang. I have been messing with it for some time now trying to make a modern DJ friendly version and thought it would be nice to share. Initially I made the sorter 'hip cut' for me to play and mashup crossing over from soul and hip hop to disco but then I realized I could not do without the magical ARP synth solo so thus the 'extended version'. Linkin Park have been one of my main inspirations my whole life, some of my earliest memories of listening to music were from Hybrid Theory. Reanimation and Collision Course sent me down a route of discovery through Rap / Electronic / Rock.

To be honest, thanks to these albums I looked at genres as a sort of imaginary line that only a handful of artists since were able to successfully bend in a flawless way.

Here is my version of it, to bring it into dj sets.
